An excellent shoot at this compact well-organised studio. Everything was provided; Kevin was helpful yet very unobtrusive. My only (minor) criticism is that the heavy lighting stands need castors, as I kept changing the area I ws using! Recommended.

Just had another amazing shoot at this cute little studio, with my model, we booked for 4 hours & took tons of great images, i love how this studio is so well equipped, everything you could need & more, nice & warm, clean & has WC

We hired the studio for 4 hours to shoot a model & this was my first visit

Dimitri was really friendly, met us, showed us around & its lovely little warm, tidy & clean studio with sheds load of lighting equipment & modifiers for you to use during your shoot with various unique backgrounds & some lush old wooden floor & a fab window if you like some natural light.

Dimitri was also on hand to assist with lighting & offer advice & set up as and when required which was really appreciated & but was not over the top intrusive

I really do recommend this studio, we had a fab shoot & created some lush images & really hope to visit again in the not to distance future

The lads have a lovely studio there. Well planned out with some great lighting. Also an excellent high window with great natural lighting. Easy to get to from Piccadilly station. I will have to return there, it has been added to ‘my list’.

My first time in a dedicated studio was an excellent experience. They were extremely helpful in advising me on the lighting and how to get the best from my camera given the prevailing conditions.

The settings available were rich and varied, offering me a good range of possibilities.

Amenities and support were truly wonderful.

I recommend the studio and would certainly use them again.

I attended a themed photo workshop session at the AWOL studio. The organisation was smooth and efficient Everything was calm, relaxed and focused on the photography. It was a good session.

Myself and Dimitri were introduced to each other via a friend at the Birmingham photography show, and we set up a shoot in April 2020. I have to say that this was a highly enjoyable shoot at Dimitris beautiful studio in Manchester. The studio is lovely based in an old mill, nicely structured, has a beautiful floor with a single large window for some natural light shots, and lots of studio space. It also has its own changing area which is curtained off over in one corner with a full length mirror and plenty of room to spread out and lay out clothes etc.

Myself and Dimitri did this really cool shoot using copious amounts of hairspray and all things misty so that we had the effects we needed using the gel lights. This made for a super fun shoot and the results came out perfectly.

Dimitri is super cool to shoot with, and he is a brilliant photographer. I highly recommend him and hope that we can work together again soon.
