I recently had a shoot with David as part of one of John Ayliffe's networking events at Libre studio.

We ventured out into the centre of Liverpool for some street photography shots, including some wonderful shots within a nearby pub!

David was great company, had a brilliant eye for photography, and was generally a pleasure to work with.

I'd more than happily work with him again.

I had a wonderful 2nd shoot with David in beautiful Wales. The shoot was in in the beautiful and scenic woods and near a waterfall. David knew the area very well and he used this opportunity to take some great shots. David has a great vision for creating some fantastic photos and he is so easy to work with. I can recommend David and hope to work with him in the near future!!!

What a fantastic day we have had in Manchester. The weather was perfect, sunny, warm just perfect. The location was great, near a canal, bridges, steps, beautiful victorian style lanterns.

David had fantastic ideas, and we worked so well together, as if we have done shoots before. He was so professional, knowledgeable and so easy to work with.He was fantastic with the shoots, the right poses, lighting and most of all it was

great fun.

I will definitely work with David again, hopefully in beautiful Wales, can definitely recommend him.

Ok so where to start , this shoot was absolutley incredible, some absolutley stunning locations which I never even knew were right on my door step.Davids pre coms were fantastic right up to arriving at the designated location and travelling to and from locations (all of which i had 0 idea were there even though all are within my local area), generally such a lovely guy and really easy to get on with. Was extremely considerate about everything and making sure i was alright throughout the whole shoot,oh and tge outfits he arrived with were amazing, he had such amazing ideas and knew exactly what he wanted to shoot so wasn't any trying to figure things out. 100% I'd reccomend to anyone. Thank you David for a fantastic shoot and hopefully we'll work together again very soon.

First of all thank you David for being so patient with me rescheduling this shoot! I have a feeling it was worth the wait 🙂

We shot together in my hotel room as part of my tour to Manchester. We chatted about outfits and ideas beforehand so we had a plan. David came with all his idea’s written down to refer back to and I loved the ideas, things I would never have thought of. We got on really well, and got some really good images I love them actually. It was fun for me to do a bit of acting as well.

Definitely recommend and definitely want to work with him again myself.

I applied for one of Davids castings which he had filled but I was absolutely thrilled when he asked to shoot me at Basford Hurst Cottage!! All pre comms with David were great, he provided me with loads of inspiration for the shoot and came up with loads of wonderful ideas for us to try!!!

David arrived on time on shoot day and after a quick look around and a chat we began shooting. David is just wonderful, he is full of so much energy and has so many ideas (including lots of quirky ones which I absolutely loved!!).

David was happy to let me pose but was also happy to provide direction. He is very knowledgeable about lighting and made sure to pay attention to create many wonderful images. He was happy to show me the back of the camera throughout and I was thrilled!!

I would of course highly reccomend David, he is great fun to be around and I found myself smiling throughout our shoot together!! I very much look forward to seeing the final edits and look forward to seeing David again soon!! Thank you so much!!

Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

David came to Basford Hurst Cottage to shoot with Miss C (Leanne) on a 4 hour shoot. David arrived on time with everything he needed for a brilliant shoot!! He was brimming with ideas and inspiration!!

Throughout the shoot David was completely respectful of Leanne and our location, making sure to ask if he ever needed anything. He worked really hard to create lots of wonderful images!!

We would highly reccomend David and look forward to welcoming him back to Basford again soon!! Thank you David!!

Had the pleasure of shooting with David in February. We communicated well before the shoot so had the opportunity to plan and prepare. I loved David's energy, enthusiasm and ideas. Had such a fun shoot with Dave on Saturday night. The theme of the shoot was ‘girls night out’ so we spent half of the time in his studio in Ancoats and the other half out in Manchester City centre where we created some amazing shots. Dave is very friendly and chatty so made the studio environment fun and laid-back, which made working with him and the other model very enjoyable. He provided snacks and drinks and even treated us to a takeaway burger and fries after our detour into town - thank you Dave! He was also kind enough to give me a lift back to the station after the shoot which was much appreciated. 100% recommend and will definitely be working with him again soon :)

This is my 3rd shoot with David & as always he didn’t disappoint. We’ve done a Jack Vettriano inspired shoot, fancy frocks & big hair & our most recent Ladies Night out on Location in Manchester City Centre.

Not only has David got an amazing eye for detail, his moodboards give me the perfect direction of his vision of the shoot but each time he’s welcomed all of our ideas & let our creativity come together to get just gorgeous images.

I’m starting to feel like a tag team with David, he is funny & amazing to work with, incredibly thoughtful with the models in the studio & always always supplies Jaffa Cakes!

Can not wait to work with you again!

David has attended the Libre Studio Event that I organise on many occasions now, and I'm very happy to leave a highly recommended reference for him.

When it comes to communication and booking David into the photoshoot, this part is fantastic - he always messages back in a very prompt and well worded manner, and this booking process is always so smooth & easy to organise with him, which is very helpful.

At the Libre event there is a real diverse amount of new and experienced models, but no matter who David works with the feedback from everyone is always perfect.

He is very friendly & easy to get along with, and his enthusiasum and energy for creating exciting images is a joy to be around, which always makes each photoshoot he does so fun & enjoyable for everyone.

And you only have to look at his portfolio for a moment to see how much brilliant, varied & creative work there is.

David is always very professional, respectful, super creative, and he works really hard to get the best possible images for everyone involved.

I would highly reccommend him to all models, Muas and other creatives, and if you get a chance to work with him I definitely recommend that you do.

My 4th time working with the brilliantly talented David and what an epic shoot it was!

Been almost four years since our last shoot so it was a lot of fun catching up. The shoot took place in David's regular studio which is a lovely big space with loads of possibilities. He brought with him large bags of outfits for the shoot and was just full of brilliant ideas and creativity.

The shoot just flew by and was just awesome.

I shot with Claytonn and the model Louise Honey on September 22nd 2023. Due to a last minute cancellation from another photographer, David answered an email, and we had a shoot planned for the next day. He was enthusiastic with ideas and plans from the moment he came in. He was very easy to get on with, personable as well as very talented. The photos he took are full of character and detail, and he was good at giving direction, as well as allowing Louise and myself to be ourselves in the shoot. The photos which he returned in just over a week are technically and creatively very good, and I would recommend working with him very highly.

I worked with David for the third time today at a photography and modelling networking event at Liverpool's Libre Studio were we got paired up for the first shoot of the day as we took to the street of the city to see where our path took us.

David had the excellent suggestion of visiting a local bar which I'd not been too previously as he assured me we'd fit in perfectly with the interior design and it did not disappoint.

We wasted no time in the venue as we got straight down to rearranging the furniture, charming the staff and getting passerby's involved throughout thanks to David's persuasive encouragement and enthusiasm.

David's energy is always very infectious and you're guaranteed to get superb results from working together but more importantly, you'll have enormous fun from start to finish and I would whole heartedly recommend working with him if you ever have the lucky opportunity to do so.

Recently I had a shoot with David. We arranged it very last minute. We meet in his studio where he had a book with photos of Kate Moss. We had a fun game where we were opening the book at random page, looking at the image and trying to recreate poses/themes we’ve seen. David is enthusiastic and passionate photographer and I absolutely loved working with him. Thank you so much for a great time :)

So yesterday I had a moment of madness & took on David’s last minute casting.. yes it was on the same day with about 3 hours notice, with hardly any plan other than on the beach potentially in the rain.. Despite all this our shoot absolutely brightened up my Sunday, & I couldn’t be happier that I reached out.

David was really easy going and great to work with, once we got there it was like everything just fell into place. He was happy with my wardrobe ideas & I was happy with his creativity pulling the shots together.

It’s easy to work as a team with David as he is accommodating, he made sure I wasn’t frozen & always checked up on my well being during the shoot. Very respectable and a gentleman but also doesn’t take things too seriously which helps you relax. He made the shoot enjoyable and I actually cracked a smile or 10 some of which he captured mid laugh 😂.

I am really excited to see our images and what we created. I hope to work with him again soon shooting areas in which we both share the same interests 🚗!

I would recommend working with David if you get the chance, it was a brilliant day. Thank you for having me and hopefully see you soon 💫
