John is fun! Shoot with John!

Pre-shoot comms were great, John gave me a really good idea of where to go and when to be there and even sent me pictures of his wonderful creations and spoke to me on the phone beforehand so I knew what to expect.

The shoot was great fun - he has a great studio space full of oddities - I could have stood around staring at and touching his weird and wonderful structures/jewellery pieces/creations all day. In terms of the actual picture taking he knew what he wanted but it felt like a creative process. I also got to do fun things like lick the inside of goldfish bowls, which to me always means it's been a great shoot. And he even walked me back to Dundee afterwards to make sure I didn't get lost.

And on top of that, I don't think I've ever laughed that much during a shoot.

Excellent humour. Creative person. Highly recommended.

Had a great shoot with John! He is very nice and friendly and lots of fun to pose for. It was great to try on many of his creations. He also gave me indications around Dundee, would have been lost without him. Thanks so much! 100% recommended and hope to work with him again.

very funny guy very creative and good at knowing what he wants for a shoot, I felt very comfortable and his humour was great, I loved his work, studio and designs, very open minded and professional about his work and I cant wait for next shoot and more to come.

Met john to do one of my 1st shoots today! he was very welcoming, friendly and has a great sense of humor. He made me feel very comfortable and it was a pleasure having his time. Cant wait to do more portfolio work with him!

I worked with this photographer a few years ago now, it may even have been one of his first model shoots (if I remember right). His studio was such an inspiring backdrop to work in, he made a good cup of tea and made me feel at ease - oh and he got some lovely pictures.
