References for Ciaran James

I applied for Ciaran's casting call for pictures of his band: something new, something different, a challenge!

He was there on time, with the band arriving shortly after: we shot a variety of images of individuals and the whole group.

They were all easy to work with - helpful, polite, and occasionally challenging (have you ever tried to light five individuals separately against black?) I've not had such a sense of achievement on leaving a studio for some time!

Very good shoot with Ciaran and small group photographers at Bromsgrove Photographic Society recently. At least 5 years since we last met and not sure why such a gap! Very cooperative and many expressive shots. Good for singer in a band shots because he is a singer in a band! Good for gymnasium shots with great muscle definition.

Highly recommended.

Worked with Ciaran again yesterday, he brought his wife along and they did a double act, got some great images and would recommend him to anyone. I am sure we will work together again.

The Old Chapel Studio - CLOSED

We welcomed Ciaran to the studio for the first time, he is quite a character, singing, dancing oh and modelling too! We had a fabulous shoot, time flew and great images were made.

We look forward to seeing Ciaran back in the studio in the future and recommend him :)

We finally worked with Ciaran yesterday after we had to move the shoot twice!!! Ciaran arrive on time, full of energy (and song!) and was up for trying new things!!! He had his make up done and we got straight into the first set. We threw lots of different props at Ciaran and he took it all in his stride. We had a fabulous shoot, time ran away with us, he is so easy going and a good laugh too!

Ciaran is definitely recommended and we would jump at the chance to work with him again.

Magnificent Makeup

Ciaran was a joy to work with. Really easy going, up for pretty much anything and was great fun. He made me laugh, put up with a lot and was just really lovely. I would highly recommend him and love to work with him again.

I had an amazing shoot with Ciaran last week and would highly recommend him!! Such a pleasure to work with and very professional :) He has a lovely personality and was even throwing in his own ideas!

I really haven't got a bad thing to say about him, On time, professional, creative, polite, hard working. I could go on lol

I had a lot of fun working with Ciaran, today. On the Hades and Persephone shoot. When looking for someone to portray Hades, it wasn't an easy task to do. As I was looking for someone with sharp features and a great physique. Ciaran was brought to my attention by a local photographer. And then also by Dave, the photographer for this shoot. He was everything that I was looking for and imagined for Hades. Ciaran is very professional and precise of how a pose should look. However, at the same time, very laid back and a pleasure to work with. We got some great images, before editing. And I can not wait to see the finished versions.

I high recommended Ciaran. And I wish him luck in all of his future work.

What can I say about Ciaran....? Well, I could not have been happier with Marzanna's choice for Hades to her Persephone. I didn't have much contact with Ciaran in advance. What I did have was always clear and prompt (always a good sign) but I didn't really know what to expect. He's easy-going, good to be around and knowledgeable to chat with. But very importantly, point a camera and he had the look and the attitude needed for his 'role'. His input into poses/composition - offered only when he thought it necessary was always spot-on and a great help in capturing, what I hope are some great images.

RECOMMENDED ABSOLUTELY

I had a brilliant shoot with Ciaran today.

Bang on time and raring to go- Ciaran was enthusiastic, hard working and dedicated. Today was cold, windy and rainy but he modelled without complaint. A trooper through and through!

I loved our images so much that within three hours of the shoot finishing I had edited and sent the finals! :)

Ciaran is a superb model, a figure to make any man his age insanely jealous and a lovely personality to go with it- if you get a chance to shoot him, for goodness sake don't miss out-!!

Full Moon

My first shoot with Ciaran and what a full and productive shoot it proved to be! Ciaran was very well prepared and brings such a positive attitude that it's impossible not to get good images! He has a natural empathy with the mood of each shot and I would heartily recommend him as a model for any photographer.

Second booking with Ciaran, this time with his partner Anita. Very productive 2 hours with good choice of outfits and plenty of photos from our small group. I highly recomend these two either singly or together!

Very productive shoot with Ciaran at B'grove Photographic Society. Excellent communication beforehand and he turned up at least 30 minutes early on the night! Patient and encouraging with less experienced photographers, good range of outfits and poses. Will definitely like to book again.
