From a recent trip to Norway. At 106km long the Nordfjorden is the sixth longest fjord in Norway. There are no road or rail crossings, but three regular ferry crossings, meaning the waterway is completely unobstructed. There are numerous old fishing communities located along the fjord that date back to pre-Viking times such as Olden, near Stryn.
