Since I was down south to do a long-past-time shoot with Chris anyway, it seemed like the thing to do to book in a second shoot! So on to day 2 of our location bondage extravaganza... This time Chris had arranged for the services of the rigging team of MasterMHatter and his assistant Cheshirecat. Chris has an enviable talent for location spotting and had a most wonderful site for us to use - derelict, dilapidated, dusty, cobwebby - perfect for our purposes!

It was another great day's shooting, we got through a lot of sets, did some quite challenging rope ties and I've no doubt at all Chris got great shots. Again, I am super-excited to see! Chris was his usual lovely self, brought along his customary flask of hot beverages, and generally made sure I was happy and well looked after.

We definitely must not leave it so long before shooting again!

MasterMHatter

This was one of the best shoots have ever had. For me working with a good photographer is simply not enough, it is about working with someone who "gets" shibari, who understands and respects the flow of the rigging - and builds on that atmosphere and captures it instead of interrupts. ChrisD3 achieved that perfectly.

I'm not quite sure how I managed to let so much time go past since my last photo shoot with Chris. We'd worked together about a dozen times before, but then life got in the way and it was waaaay too long before we had another opportunity. But we eventually and eagerly grabbed the chance a couple of days ago. And I'm so pleased we did! Chris is a fantastic photographer to work with, he is enthusiastic about the whole process, and gives great direction when it's required. I also consider him a dear friend :)

As before, it was a bondage-on-location type shoot and Chris had arranged for a rigger called Pine Rope to come along to do the tying. Chris has a real knack for finding awesome locations and we managed to cover 4 quite different sites. Going from what I saw on the back of the camera, Chris has captured some really excellent shots, and I can't wait to see them properly :) It's very exciting!

I would highly recommend Chris to other models and riggers. He is nothing but a pleasure to work with.

Pine Rope

So I have just completed a hat-trick of shoots with Chris. After three shoots, I completely recommend Chris.

Chris is professional in his approach and is skilled in getting the best out of rigger (me!) and model. On Sunday, we visited three separate venues giving a wide scope of photographic situations. I am really looking forward to seeing the shots! In addition, it was a really pleasant day with good company!

Alchemist Rope

I did a photoshoot with Chris with a model named Aya, and I had a fantastic time.

From the start of the day, he was really friendly and welcoming. He was very relaxed and open about the plans for the whole day, whilst showing a lot of diligence with a series of pre-scouted locations throughout the day.

He was talking me through the different types of setting on a camera, how it worked, what kind of picture it would produce etc which I found to be really interesting and informative.

I felt very supported to find things to be creative about and he was very welcoming and interested in potential ideas I had. Post-shoot comms were great to, if the opportunity arises, would love to find the time to work with again.

Aya

I had another brilliant location bondage shoot with Chris this time with a rope artist called Alchemist Rope.

I cannot express well enough how lucky I am that I had a couple of opportunities to work with this brilliant, thoughtful, respectful professional photographer in a week.

Every time I work with Chris, I am impressed with his knowledge, creativity, networking, organisation, professionalism and his personality. He is definitely not only one of the best photographers I've met but also one of the best gentlemen I've met.

Highly recommended and also I cannot wait to work with Chris again!!!

I had the pleasure of working with Chris yesterday doing some location shooting.

I can honestly say I have never worked with a more professional, respectful and creative photographer before working with Chris so he has set the bar very high!

I learnt many valuable skills on our shoot that will benefit me in future and came away with a lot of good advice from Chris to help with my modelling career.

I am so pleased with the images from our shoot and would recommend Chris to anyone and everyone. I hope I am lucky enough to be able to shoot with Chris again in the future.

I had a photo shoot with Chris on Wednesday. This is my second with Chris.

Chris was organised and punctual. We used a really great location which Chris knows.

Chris continues to be really support to me as a rigger. He encourages the model and I so we achieve the look we want which he captures with style.

I recommend him to both models and other riggers.

I had a brilliant location bondage shoot with Chris.

Chris is a very professional, well organised, reliable and dramatically thoughtful photographer. His attitude is always very professional, how to communicate with models and how to treat models with respect. He always pays attention for everything, including where to shoot next and what we can use while rope work being done (very organised so we managed to do 7 different bondage shoots using the beautiful spots), if the are is safe, if somebody is around, brushing the dirty area, how models feel, temperature, changing weather, bringing nice hot drinks and some snacks with him...everything, literally everything into consideration!!!

It is not surprising that lots of models want to work with Chris. His character, personality, experience and skills create such a brilliant images!!!

My second shoot with Chris was just as great, if not better, the locations were spectacular and it was a very productive shoot, lots of amazing shots to choose from! He is very thoughtful and brings everything needed and more to the shoot. Both times i've had my sample images in the next few days. I highly recommend Chis to any new models out there also, the shoot is always fun and easygoing.

It is an unusual situation for me to be working with a photographer - normally I shoot myself, but I worked with Chris because I love his work, he shoot - I rigged. Working with multiple people increases challenges, everyone has an idea of what they would like and how they want it. Chris was considerate, gave space for everyone to get there ideas brought to life, took safety seriously - and worked quickly to from the look of the back of his camera outstanding images. I would normally wait until I got final images before give a photographer a reference, but it was such a pleasure to work with him that feel I am safe in saying - if you get the chance work with him!

Just back from a shoot with Chris and I had an amazing day! The weather was lovely but challenging however we made negatives into positives and created some beautiful shots!

He's a admiral person and one I enjoyed chatting to throughout the day, he made me feel comfortable and well respected!

I had a shoot with Chris the other day and it was fantastic. Clear, concise and transparent about everything he does which puts a model at ease and educates at the same time. We bonded straight away and became a creative machine working together to get some fabulous shots. I can't wait to see the pics and shoot with him again. Apologies for the overdue reference!

This was my third shoot with Chris and I already can't wait for the next one. He was well prepared as always with everything we could possibly need from the lighting/wardrobe down to the coffee and biscuits! Shooting with Chris is always fun and we tend to feed off each others creativity. He's so easy to work with and always ready to take on any and every idea that I suggest no matter how bizarre it may be! Super creative and fun, what else can I say; he's one of my very favourites.

I had a shoot with Chris yesterday and it was one of the most enjoyable and simplist shoot I've be done in terms of communication and commoness of pictures (I.e both parties wanting to achieve similar results). Chris is very lovely, kind and patient and helpful. He is committed to ensuring his models feel respected and safe as a priority and that the shots himself and the model create are of aesthetic and artistic quality. What a life saver this man is. I gave Chris a challenge and a half, I utterly cocked up on a mum and bride shoot. Allround school boy error on my part and thought the images were useless but Chris worked wonders on them and surpassed my expectations of what could be done with them.
