So... on to day two out and about with Chris and rigger LightsHard. This time we went slightly further afield to a location that I had long admired from Chris' other photos, but that I had never previously been to. It was a great location, we had a really productive day and the weather, whilst still changeable, was a bit better for us. We even managed to have a very pleasant picnic in a field at lunch-time!

I simply can't do anything other than give Chris the highest possible recommendation. I look forward to the next shoot with him :D

Out and about on another two day location bondage extravaganza with Chris :) This time, we had the lovely LightsHard onboard as rigger. Chris is undoubtedly one of my absolute favourite photographers to work with, as evidenced by the number of shoots we've done together since our first one way back in 2008! I make it 17 now...

The weather was quite changeable throughout the day but we worked around the worst of it as best we could, managing a mixture of outdoor and undercover sets. We even went back to the very first site we ever did a shoot together - it has changed quite a bit in the intervening years but it was certainly nice to re-visit the place.

It was great to work with Chris again and, best of all, we had a second day of shooting lined up!

I worked with Chris during my UK tour. It was an absolute joy and pleasure to work with him. He certainly gave me the respect, space and privacy I needed throughout the entire shoot. This principle which he dearly hold on to is very admirable. There were some hiccups in the beginning of the shoot. But the way he reacted and dealt with was so chill and wise. That really earned my respect towards him. In the end, he fulfilled my dream of shooting with a horse and the images turns our really great and I am very pleased with the results. It really wasn't easy to find a horse to shoot with, especially when we have to make sure that the owner of the horse was present. Thank you so much for the perseverance and hard work, Chris. Ohh... And he has a whole list of very interesting locations to shoot at. So, Good locations, Respectful and skilled photographer, what more can I ask for?? I would certainly want to work with him again!! Definitely 100% recommended!!!

Silence Masters

Another wonderful shoot with Chris! I think this is the 4th time we've worked together over the years. Each shoot has been fun but I think this was the best yet! So friendly, full of creative ideas, extraordinarily generous with his time & experience. We had a brilliant day and made some great images, but had so many more ideas there will definitely need to be a 5th shoot (at least!). Thank you Chris, lovely to shoot with you again and I'm really looking forward to the next time :D

Chris was as great as ever, he's always fully prepared with styling ideas and themes for different locations. We visited some amazing and secluded locations that were perfect for art nude, (see our images). He's very friendly and easy to get on with and very professional. He brings anything you could need, including basil brush for cleaning dirty surfaces :D We had a very creative day shooting for the third time and I highly recommend Chris to models of any experience! And to top it off I had amazing edits the next week :) Thank you!

Shot with Chris last Tuesday. He is full of ideas and was up for exploring the local countryside to try and find some good locations for shoots.

This was my third shoot with him and as always he was friendly, professional and puts you right at ease.

He was knowledgeable about photography and his teaching was very clear and informative - I feel I learnt a few things myself.

Had a full day tutor session with Chris. His communication before hand was prompt and thorough and on the day his tuition was easy to follow and fun at the same time. He was keen to ensure I understood everything as we went along and happy to go back over anything. Nothing was too much trouble and he made me feel at ease throughout the day, I'd definitely recommend Chris.

Chris came well prepared talked me through several styles explained everything well and along with the model we got some shots he gave me plenty of food for thought and put some of the bits of the puzzle in place but I still have a lot to learn, thanks Chris good day.

Natural Happy Woman

I was the hired model for a photographer who had booked a tuition session with Chris. I found it very easy to work with him and would certainly be happy to do so in future- it was a pleasure and he was warm, friendly, and humourous, as well as professional and organized.

Chris has a very systematic approach, confident in delivering material with all the details necessary. He obviously has a lot of varied experience, and was diligent about covering health and safety, necessity of model releases/ID, etc.

One of the things I really noticed about his tuition is that he would set up a scenario to check the learning and get the tutee to make it happen for themselves rather than just show stuff and fix it for the student- trying to ensure they went away with knowledge they could retain by putting concepts into practice.

Met up with Chris yesterday to go over some photoshopping basics, but mainly to have a catch up with an old friend. Chris is fantastic and is full of great knowledge about the industry and he really knows his stuff when it comes to photography and lighting, I recommend him for any retouching and/or tutoring 100% :)

Just had the results back from the second set of images that I wanted Chris to do some editing on that was beyond my ability. Yet again not a simple task, but very pleased with the results that were turned around quickly.

Great work and a straight forward workflow process is used by Chris.

If you need some photo editing done I can highly recommend him.

I met Chris yesterday on one off-the most beautiful and interesting locations I have seen in England!

Chris is very professional, caring and prepared for anything, he always have a plan B and has lots of captivating ideas.

Unfortunately we had a lot of random distractions during the shoot, except cold and rain there turned out to be a fox hunting around us! Luckily they didn't catch the fox but made us be less productive. I think we managed to catch few great shots and I am sooooo looking forward to see to copies.

I would be very pleased to work with Chris again and I'm very looking forward to it. He's an amazing and unique artist and I am sure we have so much potential to create some outstanding shots.

Totally recommend and can't wait for the next session.

Recently had my second shoot with Chris! This guy is awesome. Took me to a "hidden treasure" of a location with one of the most unique settings/sculptures I've seen. It was a pleasure to be chosen to share this shoot with Chris and I know the shots are going to be incredible. Can't recommend anyone higher! Thanks again Chris and I'll see you at shoot 3! :)

Had a great shoot with Chris yesterday, pre-shoot coms were excellent, and on the day he was lovely and friendly, totally putting me at ease and introduced me to an amazing rigger I'd never met before. He was very attentive to my needs, i.e. making sure I wasn't too cold as it was an outdoor shoot and I was nude. He brought us snacks etc which was kind and just generally was really friendly and great. Can't wait to see the photos. Would definitely recommend.

I had a shoot with Chris on Saturday and it was so much fun and he was really lovely to meet and to work with. He brought tea and some snacks and was very patient with me with it being my second shoot ever. Chris was very encouraging and I felt 100% comfortable around him. We had similar interests regarding shoots aswell as ideas and worked really well together. I can't wait to see the photos and work with him again!

I had the pleasure of working with Chris on location for a ballet shoot. He is easily one of the loveliest people I've met and worked with - so prepared for every contingency, and immensely kind. He even brought tea, coffee and nibbles for us both to have during break. I felt very safe, respected and that my time with him was very worthwhile, even with a horrible cold! Chris is a true gentleman in every sense of the word and gives excellent direction and knows his craft inside out. He's wonderfully patient and really enjoys the collaborative process. "It's not about you, or me. It's what WE can do as a team to create some stunning images." He knows how to make the best of the available light and is not afraid of a challenge to capture a memorable shot. "Quality rather than quantity" is his motto when it comes to shots, and I was honoured to be consulted regarding artistic direction and to hear his thoughts on what direction the shoot could take. If the shot was worth trying, we did it; if it wasn't working, he adapted quickly. The location we were at was beyond stunning - like something out of a Jane Austen or Bronte novel. We even had an audience of morning walkers who weren't sure what to make of a ballet gear-clad woman standing in a church with a photographer! But Chris was very generous with the space and so accommodating. I do hope I have the privilege of working with him again, and highly commend him to anyone, especially those starting out in modelling trying to find their niche.

Had a shoot with Chris and another photographer and model in a beautiful waterfall location in Wales. It was a very long day (11 hours including the drive there) and i didnt eat anything since 8am but luckily Chris brought some pies and biscuits. Shoot went alright but would be better i reckon if there was only us as there were too many inteferences and delay caused by the weather especially.

Chris was mentioning a lot of the sunlight and shadows which might not appear well in the images but theres nothing much we can do about mother nature! No doubt we got some good images, i believe, and i hope.

Hopefully we'll get to shoot again on a better occasion. Would Chris does definitely know his stuff, would recommend!
