Another shoot with Clayton today. We explored a forest and shot on a rather cool bridge. We had quite an adventure but as always, Clayton was prepared with warm clothes for me so all went smoothly. :)

Clayton snapped up some last minute availability in London when I had a cancellation and I'm so glad I got another chance to work with him.

It's always a joy and he always comes up with new creative ways to shoot/use the space available.

I absolutely love working with Clayton! Every shoot is different (this is now my third!) but each one so creative in it's own right. This time round I was also very poorly with a cold but him and his wife looked after me so well which was greatly appreciated. I felt bad being at work ill but he was so understanding gave me with a hot water bottle and hot lemon and honey in the breaks, making sure I wasn't over worked. He is a total gentleman and has such a kind hearted nature that you really do feel totally at ease in his company.

Despite me being poorly we had such a fun day, and I particularly loved doing the animations towards the end of the shoot that really kept me in good spirit, plus the finished results are looking fab!!

Just another super day and hope to work with him again next time I'm around :D

I worked with Clayton for a whole day at the end of September when I was on tour in his area. I'm really happy that we had a chance to work together, I really enjoyed it. Pre-shoot communication was perfect and Clayton was really helpful when I was trying to find the best way to get to the island. He is really well-organised and he knew what exactly he would like to achieve and where to go to find some amazing locations. It was a fun and relaxed day, we managed to do a few outfit changes and the time just flew by. Clayton is really easy to work with, it was nice to talk and to work together. He is a really good photographer, professional, creative and enthusiastic. I love the first edit from our shoot and I can't wait to see more of them... It would be great to work with Clayton again. He is highly recommended! :)

I had the pleasure to work an entire day with Clayton and to enjoy his company as well.

In the morning we had to fight against the rain and could only shoot in indoor (derelict) locations, but Clayton managed not to waste time as he knew perfectly well the shots he wanted to do and we could be particularly productive despite the weather conditions.

In the afternoon we did some indoor experimental shots based on Clayton's very creative concepts and he left me much room for my own creativity so that we could deliver interesting images that I'm very proud of. I wish we could have go on like this a few more hours! This afternoon shoot was really one of the most exciting I ever did!

Needless to say that I recommend Clayton very warmly!

Thank you Clayton for giving me this opportunity to model in a open atmosphere of creation and fun!

Sinopa Rin

I had my second shoot with the lovely Clayton last week. Unfortunately the Great British Summer lived up to its reputation and we had to use plan B, but as always Clayton was wonderfully relaxed about it all. He had a few ideas but let me express mine too, which led to some beautiful images created in the short time. I'd highly recommend Clayton and hope we can work together again soon (hopefully when it's not pouring with rain...).

Twas a total pleasure to work with Clayton again. We had a very productive day with some glorious weather, playing about in Simpsons clouds and dandelion fields. I even fell in love with a typewriter, and managed to write a bit of a story on it while he shot me (which will one day sell for millions, of course!). Clayton is down to earth in the extreme, lovely to spend a day with and great fun with plenty of mad ideas that keep a day interesting! I am excited, again, to see what he does with the results of our time as his photography is always very creative. I look forward to the next shoot! :-)

It's hard to express how pleased I am with my experience working with the fabulous mister Bastiani. Clayton is sweet, and sensitive, and considerate, and brilliant- working with genuinely lovely people who also happen to be talented artists is what makes my job so amazing. Today was a wonderful day with the universe on our side....Clayton had great locations planned, the weather was kind to us, we weren't interrupted even once...the spirit of the outdoors just generates it's own energy and helps creates amazing pictures. I really enjoyed thinking a bit differently about modelling with book covers in mind. Of course, during the last sets of the day it was terribly onerus having to climb trees and blow bubbles naked, not at all my thing, but I do it for the art, dahhhling :>P And he does make very good art :>) Highly recommended.

I had an absolutely fantastic day out and about with Clayton!

We spent the day exploring some parts of Isle of Wight that I have never seen before, he had some gorgeous little spots picked out to shoot at. He looked after me extremely well, never expecting me to do anything I was not comfortable with and always making sure I was warm enough.

We worked our way through several different ideas and he provided lunch too. From what I have seen so far I am over the moon with the results and just had a generally lovely day!

I would happily recommend him and hope to see him on my next trip south!!

I had a brilliant day of rock-hopping, fossil-hunting and bubble-blowing with Clayton yesterday... Oh and we took some photos too! Clayton is one of the nicest photographers I've had the pleasure to work with - his pre-shoot comms were flawless, he was wonderful company throughout and so considerate: bringing a hot water bottle, towels and snacks for our location shoot. Our shoot was a wonderful adventure and the results are beautiful. I couldn't recommend him more highly and hope we can work together again soon.

Well where do I begin?

3 hours with this dude at my studio day in the Isle of Wight and it was great! Pre shoot communications were great and the shoot was really laid back - seriously if he was anymore laid back he'd be horizontal! ha! lovely guy full ideas I was only too happy to be a part of. Working with creative people is the most enjoyable part of this job and Clayton was full of creativity! After recovering from a somewhat mild concussion knocking his noggin when entering the studio we did some cool beans stuff with torches - swear I have arms bigger than popeye now from holding them things!

Also got to pretend to levitate, be a squished boob dead corpse, "attempt" to fly - emphasis on the word attempt! and before I knew it the shoot was over - sad times! Such a lovely bunch of photographers down on the Isle of Wight and Clayton was a fab way to end my little tour. I've seen some wonderful results already and I can't wait to see more!

Highly recommended! many thanks - and I'll most deffo be returning! :)

I worked with Clayton at studio 2 recently. I have no hesitation recommending him! His work speaks for itself, as does the calibre of models he has worked with! I was absolutely honoured to have had the opportunity to work with him, the shoot was experimental & delightfully challenging, I liked that his style made me think outside the box! He was really pleasant to work with, respectful and well prepared, with a host of brilliant ideas. He's got an interesting market for his work which provides him with a wonderfully focused style, which is particularly beautiful and positive in its portrayal of women. Really looking forward to working with him again in future!

What an absolutely fantastic person to work for!!! Clayton booked me on a recent studio day and I'm so glad he did, he has such a unique shooting style that I've never done before (and it's very rare for me to shoot something I haven't done before nowadays!). He came with a huge case full of torches and abandoned the proper studio lights, they created such cool effects and the whole shoot was so creative and enjoyable.

Really inspiring shoot and I would without a doubt recommend him :)

Had the absolute pleasure of working with Clayton last month! He is a true creative full of unique and imaginative ideas! He brings ideas and concepts to the table that most people haven't thought of trying and so creates a really fun, collaborative and engaging shoot! When I worked with him we were using hand held torches and lights to great drawings and capture them in shots, it was incredibly fun developing them and creating some truly unique images!

As well as being incredibly fun and creative Clayton is very professional and friendly, he made me feel totally comfortable throughout the whole shoot and I had a really lovely time working with him! Wouldn't hesitate in recommending him! :)

I really enjoyed working with Clayton- he is so well prepared and planned, complete with little sketches of the shots he wants to achieve, which meant I could really work with him and understand what the aim of the shoot is. Clayton is so friendly and engaging to work with, he is creative, respectful of his models and has a creative mind. He was helpful with his pre shoot comms, well on the day prepared with some lovely props, and arrived punctually.

Clayton works at a relaxed but productive pace, taking time to review the previous images and work out the next set. We shot some really interesting, moody and unique images, and I'm looking forward to seeing them when they're finished.

I loved working with Clayton, despite the weather difficulties making the journey there and back a bit of an adventure... It was absolutely worth it and I'm so excited to see his magical results when they're ready. He is very talented and organised (a lethal combination!), and we covered lots of ideas, making for a very productive shoot! Clayton was very thoughtful and friendly, easy to talk to, and I'd absolutely recommend working with him to any model. Very much looking forward to a second shoot hopefully sooner rather than later!

I had another spur of the moment shoot with Clayton last week. We worked on some set ideas first and then, fairly typically, as you can never be quite sure what Clayton will pull out of the bag next, he gave me some work lights to play with!!!

I love working with Clayton as he has so much imagination and an ability to make inanimate objects of real photographic interest.
