I had the pleasure of working with Moonchild777 for the first time 1-2-1 at my Monkey Sanctuary studio in Warrington while she was on her northern tour. Pre shoot comms were perfect (professional, organised, prompt, and informative). Catarina arrived as planned giving us time to catch up and discuss ideas over a brew before getting started. Catarina came so very well prepared with a super selection of outfits and accessories that fitted her look and style as well as my requests perfectly.

Catarina is genuinely such a lovely person with so much talent, creativeness, and passion about her craft. It was such a chilled and relaxed afternoon, as if we had worked together many times before. Throughout the shoot Catarina was full of positive energy with a “can do” attitude putting 110% effort into every shot. Catarina not only poses effortlessly but she also has an amazing eye for the fine details, adding her own creative touches to each look ensuring she brings any idea or concept to life with an amazing Wow factor.

If you are lucky enough to work with this fantastic young lady, then you’re in for an amazing shoot. Highly recommended to photographers, studios and event’s organisers.

Thanks for travelling over to work with me and for all your hard work and patience. Im looking forward to working with you again very soon early next year on the concepts we discussed :)

The Monkey Sanctuary

We were lucky enough to have the lovely Moonchild777 visit us at the studio in Warrington to do a 1-2-1 session. Pre visit communication were perfect. On the day Catarina arrived as planned with an outstanding selection of outfits that fitted the intended themes and her posing style perfectly.

Catarina is genuinely a lovely person with so much talent, enthusiasm, creativeness and passion about her craft. She put in 110% effort with a positive “Can Do” attitude into every idea ensuring she brings it to life just as you hoped.

Catarina was very respectful of studio property and make sure she not only puts things away after use but happily helps clear up afterwards.

Overall A very talented and professional lady who is reliable, so very highly recommended to all photographers, studios and event organisers.

Thanks for all your hard work and patience and we look forward to seeing you back with us again very soon early next year :)

Working with Caterina, is an experience, a very positive one! She is a force of nature that rushes into your environment and fires it into life. It can be a cliché to say, comes the camera arrives the model, but this is so true in this case, she brings a power and intensity to every image. The real challenge is to be on the top of your game in order to capture the amazing visions appearing before you, because you are dealing with one of the very best and you should be ready.

Pre-comms were fantastic, communication during the shoot was really good and she found a new friend with my puppy.

You will be welcome back at any time and hopeful there will be some sun and warm weather next time.

Had a great couple collaborations with Monchild ( mostly me drawing an artwork based on the existed artworks of her purpleport portfolio). I am really happy with the results. she brought great enthusiasm to her artworks the way I see it. She is so talented and especially I loved the way she brings ideas and suggestions to my artworks. I definitely recommend her she is a lovely friend, inspiring artist and fun to work with. I would like to suggest you to work with her in creating new artworks for your portfolio.

Well I wanted to shoot with her again, and I did.

Her references show you should work with her. It’s hard to draw any other conclusion.

She is professional, knowledgeable, enthusiastic, inquisitive and just very very good.

But it is as a person she just makes the day so easy. Delightful in every way, interesting, decisive and open to discussion.

I captured some superb images unlike my usual style but which pleased me very much. Very reminiscent of 60s style. Not sure Catarina was over impressed but as she said it’s her job to model and produce what the photographer wants. That’s why I will continue to work with her (If she’ll let me)

The essentials first: A true joy to work with!

My first time shooting with Catarina at my studio in Wexford.

We worked seamlesly together for three glorious hours on a religiously themed project.

Catarina is the supreme professional model, taking my direction with ease and, more importantly in my opinion, adding her experience and knowledge to aid me in capturing high quality images.

I am, a full day after the shoot, still in awe of her modelling skills and her divine personality.

As so many photographers have already mentioned, Catarina is a model of the highest professional standard. I simply cannot recommend her highly enough.

It will be both an honour and joy to shoot with her again.

I had a first shoot with Moonchild yesterday. I would completely recommend her for shoots. She will be on time, no matter what the distance travelled. She will be perfectly prepared for the shoot on arrival.

When Moonchild arrives you will be met with a wonderful smile and an eagerness to provide you with the images you require.

All the above is important, but during the she is also very amusing and entertaining, and we had some amazing chats during and after the shoot.

My second shoot with Catarina. Our first was good: this one produced outstanding images! We shot at Catarina's home, she kindly met me at the tube station, which has a dreamy amount of natural light. I brought flash lighting but we both agreed we prefered natural light and proceeded to spend four hours using exactly that. She even provided live music via her flat mate practising, exceptionally well, classical piano music. What's not to love? Very much looking forward to creating future magic with her should Catarina be up for a third shoot :)

Moon Child arrived presenting me with a bunch of Red Roses; never been given Flowers before! Single Red Roses were the ideal vessels for the brass tubes of my 7 trumpets proclaiming Revelations , an inspiring touch for our Apocalypse theme; which we had together discussed at great lengths ,before the shoot ! With my meagre means it was a daunting to ful justice to the Visionary Apocalypse in the Book of Revelations . Many a great Artist has illustrated those sublime archaic verses! 'Come and See' , I was in Awe as if by magic MoonChild777 appeared as the Bejewelled Naked Strumpet of Babylon .Freely posing with my Pentagram Set amongst the 7 Trumpets & 7 Snake Candlesticks she drank from my silver chalice of iniquities to realise our VISIONS. 7 was always the number for Revelations which was apt for the 777 of Moon Child Although I had some jewellery for her outfit , Moon Child kindly presented me with her precious jewels ! Moon Child is a sublime sensual Beauty & highly intelligent ! We are already discussing ideas for another Dark Magic themed Shoot .

Tmul

I got to shoot with Catarina today at her location and it was a fabulous shoot.

We had exchanged a few ideas for the shoot in advance and Catarina had asked about starting set and makeup choice etc. When I arrived she was shoot ready.

We shot an array of soft portraits, moody portraits and a few fashion sets.

We shot some sheer, implied and tasteful nude sets to finish.

Our shoot was relaxed, free flowing and enjoyable.

Catarina is a lovely model to work with, friendly, professional and really amazing posing.

I enjoyed our shoot and look forward to working together again in the future.

I’ve had a lovely day. Catarina stepped in to cover a last minute pull out by someone who had requested a shoot.

Her communication in the few hours we had was clear and friendly. She arrived at the station with a smile on her face and the enthusiasm to satisfy my shoot.

I had been aware of her folio for sometime and in all honesty slightly overawed by the professionalism of the modelling and quality of her work.

There was no need; easy to talk with, enthusiastic about everything and a natural in posing.

She said something which stuck in my mind and a lot could learn from. I said ‘the camera loves you, you’re so photogenic ‘. Her reply ‘it’s my job’. There lies the professionalism of a truly delightful person, who seemed to get through so much effortlessly and still have time to have interesting conversations.

I want to shoot with her again, definitely.

She turned what could have been a disappointing day into a real joy.

I had my second shoot with Catarina, and we were both excited to try something new, and shoot a clip on 16mm film.

Catarina is such a wonderful model, super professional, always eager to try out new ideas, daring, bubbly, and a pure joy to work with.

Because we shot on 16mm film, setting up the lights and camera can take a while, but she was so patient with me, and always gave 200 percent during a long eight hour shoot.

The script asked for her to take selfies with a small Polaroid camera, and it confirmed, what I always suspected - she's a better photographer than I am :)

I can't wait for the film to be developed and scanned, so I can start editing the clip.

I'm looking forward to working with Catarina again, every time I get the chance to do so - she's a wonderful Muse, and I will never tire to capture her on film.

Uniquely talented, incredibly funny and beautiful to the core.

My only regret about working with Moonchild is that I waited so long to do it. Before our shoot I dropped her a very sketchy mood board of my thoughts, she understood and embraced.

My head is simply buzzing with ideas that I want to share with her for future shoots.

I dithered (a bit) about shooting Catarina before finally trusting to Dee @ Fine and Dandee studio's recommendation. And then I was late arriving so I had limited explications from this shoot. That was a mistake!! Catarina is lovely and the images we captured amazing. Easily the best I think I've achieved at the studio and I've only edited two! Catarina is luckily fairly local to me so I have no excuse not to create with her again. Thank you Catarina for super productive shoot :)

Darkness there & Nothing More , the beguiling Beautiful Magical Moon Child entered into my Dark Chamber Studio to become once more the the devilish ebony bird of yore . This is my second session shooting the Edgar Allan Poe's sinister Raven theme with Moon Child . She never disappoints , creating a new Crow Makeup design , Perfect as the oiseau noir the naked nubile wore a minimal outfit of black feathers to photographer her entirely in sepia for a soft focus vintage look !

It has only been a year since I photographed the classy incredible beautiful Moon Child but we have created many amazing images together . I am always excited by the results & this was no exception! She is artistic & highly intelligent & poses to perfection , so I never direct giving her free rein .I am enchanted by the Muse Moon Child & already discussing future themed shoots with her .
