I recently had the opportunity to work with Carlos when he came to the Swindon Studio Social evening. Along with a few other photographers, I was able to try a few different lighting setups and outfits.

Carlos was very easy to work with - managing to adapt to the individual requests from each and all of the photographers present and came across as a really nice guy.

After shoot communications were good too as we collaborated on choosing the best shots and how to present them.

I met Carlos at a Swindon Studio Social where he was the guest model. He is very easy to work with, takes direction well and offers alternatives to the poses being proposed. Carlos worked hard to please and was receptive to all the ideas put forward, and I think we achieved some excellent images between us, so highly recommended.

Through a bit of an unusual set of circumstances, myself and Carlos found ourselves able to get together again in short order from our first shoot, a few days before.

Carlos was able to communicate his limits and expectations for a duo shoot with another male model well and although I wasn't 100% sure how successful the shoot would end up being I made every effort to ensure it would proceed in a professional manner (to the point of perhaps overthinking things at times, however, I felt the responsibility as the photographer to make sure all parties were comfortable).

In the end I need not have worried. I was very happy with how the shoot went and we got a good variety of solo and duo shots indoors. During the shoot Carlos and the other model got along well and it was a pleasure to shoot them.

I was especially happy to get some much needed practice using my flashes indoors as well as my first time shooting two male models together in a select few poses.

During the shoot everyone was respectful of each others boundaries and as far as I know both models liaised after the shoot to agree which duo shots they were happy to go on to have edited and posted.

I can recommend Carlos to photographers looking for a model who works well with others and I would happily shoot with him again.

Carlos and I had been in discussion about doing a beach based shoot for a couple of weeks, however, the Great British weather seemed to conspire against us and I was worried we had lost the chance until next year.

Luckily Carlos had been keeping an eye on the forecast and when a suitable window opened up we managed to agree a time for a shoot on short notice.

He has a great look as well as a great smile that showed through in many of the images we achieved.

Carlos was friendly and personable throughout our time together. He was more than happy to follow any of my suggestions for poses and we came away with a great selection of images.

I have no hesitation in recommending Carlos to other photographers and I would love to be able to shoot with him again in the future.

Eye Made Quiet

Another excellent shoot with Carlos. I do make demands on my models and Carlos always rises to the challenge and produces results. More importantly, he has an inner warmth that shines through in the pictures - he's naturally photogenic - and that makes him a pleasure to photograph.

Carlos answered my casting as i had last minute cancellation comms was very good and contacted me on the day of the shoot that he had arrived at the meeting point .

He was very cool and professional especially when he was getting fired at with red paint from a water gun in a breaking bad boiler suit outfit with zombie mask.
