I have been absent, missing in action for a while due to being unwell after a failed operation. My drive to do anything had left, I did little but feel sorry for myself. I had another operation on Tuesday last week and was released without needing a third operation/procedure or follow-up. I will also return to my career as a pilot. I have to take it easy for a few more days then the big wide world is waiting. Just now I am sofa surfing with the doors open and a bird feeder on the lawn in front of it, that Steph put there for me. I have picked up my camera again and taken a couple of little bird pics for fun.
It's really easy to let yourself slide when you constantly feel so grim. The immediate change after my operation is hard to put into words.
