I recently met Katy at Woolton Hall Networking event arranged by John Ayliffe. She was really pleasant, friendly and professional. All I can say is wow at her work and how skilled she is. We have had great post communication after the event and the pictures just look fantastic hope to see/work with her again in the future.

Met Katy at a group shoot, lovely lady, down to earth and great banter. We discussed a concept and boom she was on it sharing the vision and making it come to life.

Her rope work is sublime, a thing of beauty and elegance that enhances a photo. If you have never shot ropework or are aprehensive about it then she is the one to work with.

She is patient, understanding and her knowledge on a shoot is second to none. You will come away with amazing images and I for one will certainly be working with her again in the very near future. Superb !!

Had a shoot today with Sensual Shibari (Katy) it was a Shibari shoot at the townhouse.

Found Sensual Shibari (Katy) a consummate professional on the shoot, Sensual Shibari (Katy) was very easy to get along with and very good company.

She is incredibly knowledgable and skilled at Shibari and I am sure the model, Shrodingers Kitten, felt completely at ease.

Already thinking of ideas for my next shoot with Sensual Shibari (Katy).

Can without hesitation recommend Sensual Shibari (Katy) to any level of photographer or model.

Katy came with us to a recent networking event at Woolton Hall. We wanted to break the mould and do something different there and that's exactly what we did! We bounced ideas off each other prior to the event and when we arrived we quickly made it all come together. Katy will go to some lengths to get the right shot. All the time her attention is on the model making sure she is safe and comfortable.

I met Katy on a shoot a few months back and we have very quickly become good friends. She is a wonderful person, with a heart of gold. I'm very grateful to have met her 😊

Katy and I met at the Woolton Hall Event today and what a pleasure it was!

She was the expert rigger doing a number of suspensions with Blackswann and I got the immense pleasure of shooting one of them.

What can I say about Katy....Well she is down to earth, great fun and a real expert in Shibari and suspension. Her attention to detail and to the safety of the model were second to none! This lady is a true professional and her cracking personality just make shooting what could be such a dangerous and difficult subject an absolute dream!

I have had a few shoots with Katy and each time they get better and better. Today we had big plans!! Go big or go home! We absolutely nailed it too. Her attention to detail is impeccable, whilst always making sure the models safety and comfort paramount. She has an amazing personality and ideas, her pre shoot comms are spot on and whilst on a shoot in ropes, she's always there with anything I need to make me comfortable.

And one more amazing shoot we had ! This time it was duo suspension and I enjoyed “ arealism”. I can’t get enough of hands that tie and we gonna shoot soon again in following weekend . Highly highly recommended by me . If you haven’t still worked with “hands that tie “ yet , don’t hesitate to book her , she is fabulous person to work with and I’m sure I gained a friend as well ;) . Katy and I met up again yesterday. This was our second shoot working together.

She is so talented and an amazingly good person.

Quick communications, plenty of ideas and suggestions, willing to listen to my input, and always always always, keeping safety and model comfort at the front of her mind.

I cannot fault anyone who considers others first, and keeps safety in such high regard.

Shoots at Antwerp Mansion

Katy did a shibari shoot here. She looked over our suspension points and asked about the safety of various points and considered how photogenic each was. She made sure her model was comfortable and didn't spend too long in any position and made sure a long shoot passed quickly and with lots of laughter. Loved her work and have enjoyed seeing her other projects. Evie x

After good correspondence, the day arrived. Coincidentally arriving at the venue at the same time, both favouring early rather than late. Lovely lady, enthusiastic about Shibari (and other forms) and can certainly back up the enthusiasm with a great display of history as well as impressive rope work.

It wasnt long before she had model Shrodingers Kitten suspended from the stair well, then tied to a piano, as for the pit of dust, rubble (and spiders) we wont mention that. I was impressed with her attention to detail and ensuring the safety/welfare of her model at all times. What a truly fun day, looking forward to the next one.

What a great shoot we had yesterday at Townhouse club. This is third time working with The Hands that tie and definatly we have some future projects in mind .

She is super super good at what she does , I felt cuddled , taken care of and one of my favourite projects I have worked for. She is fun to talk to , amazing professional to work with and We gained amazing images . Thanks a lot for such brilliant day ! Highly recommended by me - if you have a chance to work with the hands that tie, don’t hesitate - you won’t regret it - it is amazing experience and you gonna be in safe hands .

Met Katy for the first time today. She was introduced to me via a mutual friend, and we arranged a shoot.

I've never shot Shibari in any variation or form, so this was all new to me.

Prior to the shoot, we planned and plotted, communications were spot on, and we all knew what the plan was pretty quickly.

Come the day of the shoot, Katy had this huge carrier with ropes and chains etc in, and after showing her around the venue we were using, we set to work.

She's lovely to work with, easy going, works quickly, and most importantly, safely.

I cannot wait to shoot something else with her another time, we'll get that arranged asap. :)

I can recommend Katy as knowledgeable, safe, and considerate, so you should get her booked. Now!

Had an enjoyable day with Katy and a male model in some woods, tying him up in various complex ways and taking photos of the results. She is a very skilled rope artist who really knows her stuff and is always willing to discuss the history and theory of Shibari while she ties. Well worth booking a shoot with if you need to make sure you get your rope work absolutely right.

Katy is very professional and talking to me about the tie she was doing, all about the safety elements which was great to learn from, each step of the way explaining what’s going on and the plans she had.
