My second shoot with David was just as incredible as the first! I absolutely love his style of work and he is without doubt one of the more experienced photographers. David is laid back and fun to work with, the time goes so fast. I was genuinely over the moon when David messaged for a second shoot. The images I’ve seen so far are stunning!

Had connected via Instagram and after really thorough conversation, idea sharing and planning, a shoot was organised. David paid for my travel and also picked me up from the train station and dropped me back off. Like a true gent he always offered to carry my bag or provide me with anything I needed.Made sure I was fed, watered and felt respected/safe at all times.

He's a pleasure to work with and I certain hope we work again together in the future.

I hadn’t been modelling for over six months this year due to health issues, and my health happened to improve at the start of December - so I was trying to find modelling work during the busiest month of the year. I was cross posting and David saw one of my casting calls on social media, and after some back and forth established that he would be willing to host me on a 3 day jaunt to greater Manchester.

Not only was I beguiled and relieved to be offered this, as we hadn’t met before but it was so close to Christmas and he was expecting family. I made sure he was certain then booked my tour, and he was the most quintessentially reliable and laid back host ever, in the pre-communications. He gave me all the information I needed and let me do the rest of the planning, confirming quite last minute, after I had found enough other shoots.

On the night I arrived, I was exhausted, but he was very patient with my limited mental faculties as we had a good introduction and I got to bed early. His home is exquisite, the guest room is comfortable, and the shower has a spa faucet. I wasn’t expecting it to be so lavish, private and abundantly peaceful during my first stab at work after long illness - it was just what I needed.

He was completely laid back and allowed me optimal privacy during my stay, and great coffees. He offered me rides to the train station for my shoots, during a hurricane like windstorm in UK. He conversed as readily as I was available but also allowed me downtime. I was quite awkward socially but he was kind, helpful and interesting! He handmade sushi for dinner for us during my night off.

The best part of the experience by far was our shoot. My social issues go away when I am shooting and I was finally able to focus and give back to the person who had opened their space and time to me! We planned our shoot extensively the night before, then executed it with a mixture of my props and his styling. It was absolutely divine synergy to work together. David really knows his craft and works with the highest levels of skill and professionalism. We both contributed to the themes, and shot to our hearts content, creating some of the best images I now have in my portfolio. He came through with results within a week of the shoot ending.

Having a safe and comfortable place to stay, having help with transport, getting to creatively contribute to the shoot itself and having access to the final results are all utter bonuses - I was so lucky to be in his hands when I needed those Christmas bookings. It was a markedly positive experience that made me very relieved to be back in the industry. I am so enamored with his style of shooting and hope we get to keep creating together.

I have followed David on both purpleport and Instagram for some time now as I love his work. So I was delighted when he had contacted me to book a shoot. Communication prior to the shoot was extremely organised and professional, I knew exactly what I needed but me being me brought extra too. On the day of the shoot I arrived at David’s beautiful home and he greeted me and made me feel at home, even offering me a cuppa!

I was really impressed with the studio and all the clothes and props David has. We got along great, and understood how each other worked which makes getting amazing shots easy. David is very creative, i loved his style. I think we got some awesome shots. The shoot was brilliant from start to finish I can only highly recommend this talented yet down to earth photographer.

I hope to work together again in the future.

Had such a lovely shoot with David ! The images from what I’ve seen are awesome :) he’s a lovely guy made me feel at ease , conversation flowed and he makes a good brew ! He has a wonderful style , had plenty or props . the overall shoot was very relaxed but professional! Would highly recommend working with David

So today I had my first shoot with David at his beautiful home in Bolton and had a fabulous shoot ... David made me feel completely at ease from the moment I arrived and the shoot just flew by ... the images are beautiful I couldn't be happier with the result .. David is a lovely guy and fantastic photographer whom I would defo highly recommend working with 😊
