With so many references its hard to add something new. I used this studio a number of times but it was the first time i met Lee on saturday, and what a nice guy he is. As you all know the studio is stunning. But Lee not only had the central heating up full blast, he also had a jet heater to take the chill off as he said. The temperature was perfect tbh.

Lee was also on hand to move props when requested but stayed behind the scenes when i was shooting. The perfect combination.

Images from the day are stunning and I cant wait to go back there.

I was lucky enough to be invited along to Bodyline Studios for an event organised by Angel Wings Model Management and wow! The owners really have made use of the space and the amount of thought and effort gone into it is amazing with so many sets I didn't even get round to them all. The owner Lee was present during the event and accommodating all times ensuring we had everything we needed during the day and chatted to us and made us feel at ease. I would recommend Bodyline to anybody looking to hire a space, it has everything.

The studio has loads of different looks n well spaced out.. U defo need to get some shoots done here. Beet one I've been to yet.. I have been doing shoots at Bodyline Studio since March 2016.

Lee (the owner / manager) of the studio has always been great and very helpful when ever I have worked at the studio.

Yesterday (Saturday 5 October 2024) I did a full ten-hours shoot with three amazing models. Lee was just as great as usual and I am chuffed-to-bits with the results.

Bodyline studio is a large studio with multiple areas / coves with differing decor and furniture in each area. So during a longer shoot (such as this) I was able to create a variety of differing settings and atmospheres for my images.

I am chuffed-to-bits with the results and I will be back at Bodyline again soon.

I recently had the opportunity to shoot at Bodyline Studios during a 1-2-1 studio lighting tuition. The studio provides a great variety of sets, props, and lighting equipment, making it easy to achieve the desired look for each set.

1-2-1 tuition was great. Awesome guidance and expertise. He covered very important aspects of studio lighting, camera settings and provided valuable tips for shooting with a model in studio. I totally recommend it to anyone looking to improve their photography skills.

Lee, the owner, was friendly and helpful, ensuring that everything ran smoothly throughout the shoot.

Bodyline Studios offers a fantastic setting for any photography session and I totally recommend it.

Organised Chaos

Firstly this was a super fun booking as I had the shoot booked with Amy Green as the model &I met Lee Henshaw owner & proprietor of Bodyline Studio.

This was my first booking there & I already have a 2nd & 3rd booking already in place.

I will say this studio was more then worth the 103 miles drive there & 103 miles back also the studio owner Lee Henshaw made this worth while.

Location

The studio is less than 3 miles from the M1.

The studio has ample free parking right outside the studio.

The studio is located on the 2nd floor but access is easy as the stairs are not steep & also thankfully for me as I do bring lots of clothing etc to a shoot there is a lift.

The studio has many sets:

Haybarn , White infinity curve , a silver racing motorcycle , numerous graffiti backdrops (not cloth but corrugated ) , Pink fabric lined soft box, dungeon crawl cell, Gothic back drop set with lighting including LED variant colours , Bedroom set with a 4 poster bed (not a fold out bed but a decent proper bed) with decent sheets , gym set with a multi gym, free weights, sit up bench, bike, bath set, NEW WET SET being set up, distressed set, various seating sets perfect for fashion.

More than Ample lights .

The icing on the cake though is Lee Henshaw himself who can set up so many lighting arrangements to give your images a brilliant look.

Lee is super helpful, super friendly . knows lighting both as a studio owner & model.

My first visit to the studio and certainly not my last. Lee gave me a brief tour of the venue when I arrived as well as showing me the model changing room and I was absolutely blown away with how versatile the space was.

There are so many set options throughout the venue that it's impossible to get around all of them, even being there for 8 hours!

Lee was polite and professional, offering assistance if needed, otherwise staying out of the way.

The studio was warm and well equipped with a variety of lighting, including flash units and constant lights.

I'd happily return here and recommend it!

Lee is a thoroughly professional and highly experienced male model and photographer In his own right! His studio is dynamic, functional and a pleasant environment to create in!... A unique studio with above average facilities! A go to place in the east midlands! ... I've got so many great images and memories from there!... I have used the Studio for over 30 years! ... Very friendly and safe any time! 10/10...

My first visit to Bodyline Studio today and I'm totally impressed by the variety of sets and equipment - utterly brilliant.

Lee was extremely helpful, patient and supportive, just what's needed in a studio owner. He is to be commended for keeping his hourly rate unchanged and lower than many studios. The place is very clean with a massive variety of sets - far more than I could use during my half day visit and the facilities for both models and photographers are excellent.

Clean toilets, spacious changing room for models, plentiful coffee and a fridge for my sandwich! Lots of private parking just a few feet from the main door and off the main road. I still don't understand why I haven't been before ...

I certainly intend to return and highly recommend Bodyline for everyone. Thanks Lee and good luck.

Spent a great creative afternoon with model Crystal.U.K and Lee in a warm and friendly collideascope of a studio!... Loads of fresh theatrical sets and ideas to choose!.... Outstanding results and a winner studio any time of the year!...This is the best "A" list studio and has been for over 30 years that I've used since the '80's... Lee is set it up for the future and it's never been better than now to use this great space!... Thanks Pete 😎.

First time at the studio. Lee has worked so hard to make this such a creative space. 14 excellent and unique sets with a lot more possible. I was shooting with Camilla and the combination of great model and great studio meant that I got the shots I was looking for. Lee is a great host, makes a good cuppa and good lighting direction

My first shoot at Bodyline today, Lee was great with pre shoot comms.

As my first shoot in a number of years, Lee was on hand to suggest lighting setups and showed me a setup which I’ve not tried before but really worked.

Anyone who has not been to Bodyline needs to as the wealth of sets is impressive and I probably could have spent a lot more time there.

Fully recommend the studio to anyone looking for great sets and the photographic knowledge of Lee too.

This was my second time at Bodyline studio, again for a full 11 hour day shooting. Lee- the studio owner, was there from start to finish- despite him knowing that I'd worked with the photographer many times! It was nice that Lee had stuck around and was literally making hot drinks on tap, when ever the photographer changed from set to set (which was many times) Lee was there on board and able to help and offering his assistance, whether it be moving sets, furniture, lights or offering his opinion and knowledge on anything the photographer might ask. 10/10 for hosting- not just myself as the model but also from a photographers point of view.

The Studio its self, wow, I don't think I have ever visited one with quite so many sets and then different options with in that set! I could probably spend a week here and not tire of different ideas, backgrounds etc.. The studio also has a decent car park with easy access, plenty of spaces to then create some shots outside, as well as then in the rustic elevator and spirally stair case.

Talks of booking a studio day/weekend here *watch this space*

Its been a few years with covid and closing my studio down since I was last here. I am so pleased that I have returned to this awesome studio which in my opinion is the most versatile studio any where in the country. So many sets that it would be impossible not to take great images here. Add to that the main man Lee himself and you have the perfect host and studio. Today proved that you are never to old to learn something new with Lee introducing me to a style of lighting that I had never seen or used before and wow am I ever impressed with the images.

Lee is the perfect host not only does he know the industry inside and out but he is more than willing to pass on his vast knowledge to those smart enough to listen. The atmosphere in the studio is very relaxed which leads to a making the whole visit so enjoyable. put all this together and add best value for money and you have the most go to studio to use anywhere.

Many thanks Lee for not only your great hosting but also for making the visit such a pleasure. If your reading this then you no doubt realize that I am 1000% recommending that if you are looking for the studio that has everything then book here you will not be disappointed.
