I had the pleasure of working with Sam for the second time last week. I've never known a photographer to have such a sweet tooth like Sam. He's always got a packet of sweets on him , probably because he's a real sweetie! Pre-comms were great and he arrived on time. We did a mix of stills and video and he is great at directing but also allowed me to pose freely. Sam shoots at a relaxed yet productive pace and is brilliant company, very easy to talk to and get on with and has a super sense of humour. I enjoy shooting with him a lot and I look forward to the next time. 100% recommended by me.

Had a great time working with Sam last week!

We'd initially tried to arrange a shoot in London but timings didn't work out. Then we arranged a shoot earlier in the month but I had to reschedule due to illness. Finally, the stars aligned and I'm so glad they did because I had so much fun!

Sam is a brilliant photographer and an all-round character. I spent half the shoot in stitches because I was laughing so much. He gave excellent direction and I felt very comfortable at all times. He also kindly shared is skittles with me (even though I only like the red ones).

I got a quick look at some fo the photos from the back of the camera and the lighting looked amazing - can't wait to see the finished results.

10/10 would recommend and work with again! :)

Had the most epic afternoon of shooting at Sam's gorgeous, well lit, mid-centruy-modern apartment. He was flexible with timing as I made my way into the city via bus... and picked me up from a busy street so I didn't have to walk far with my luggage. He's a wonderful, fiery character, with a soft centre. Incredibly talented, focused and creative, but also makes time for playfulness at the shoot. Being slightly eccentric myself I don't normally meet others who have a similar disposition - but was very delighted to meet it in him! He was patient with me as I strayed outside my expertise of Art Nude into more erotic/video. I think we created some great work together, and really hope to catch him on my next tour to Edinburgh. Recommended to any model!

Had my first shoot with Boardslide a couple of weeks ago and it was awesome! We got on like a house on fire! Sam has such a great personality and is great fun to work with! The shoot went so fast as we had such a laugh! Talented gentleman! Great photography skills and definitely knows his stuff! Can’t wait to see some of the images we created! Truly talented and would highly recommend BoardSlide! We already have another shoot booked in on the 13th of May so really looking forward to that! See you soon! X

I had a wonderful first shoot with Sam this Tuesday in Southampton. Between the hotel, the lights and the kitten sweets we had all the makings of a great shoot. Sam has a friendly and professional demeaner which, alongside a great eye meant we were able to get some great shots.

The shoot was easy going, enjoyable and comfortable the whole way through! He also gave me a lift back to the train station which was greatly appreciated. Highly recommend :)

2 shoots with Sam in the space of 4 days, I think, is proof enough of how wonderful it is working with this man! Last week, I was fortunate enough to be alerted of a message from Sam on IG in request for a shoot on Thursday whilst on his way down south - I happily accepted and we had a BLAST of a shoot at a great hotel in central London. Fast forward to the weekend and I was greeted with a new message asking to shoot again, at a different gorgeous location in London, on Monday on Sam’s journey our new back up north! We shot both stills and video both shoots and I know that the end results will be incredible. Two highly enjoyable shoots both in company, shoot style, location choices and shoot snack (of course they had to have a mention!) and I recommend any model jump at the chance to work with Sam. Thank you for such great shoots Sam - until next time ☺️ ☺️

It was booked very short notice but pre comms were still good , he was so easy to work with and we had such a good laugh throughout. I would 100% work with him again and can definitely recommend him :)

I had my first photoshoot with Sam on Sunday. He was a lot of fun to work with. Open, relaxed, happy to direct and also let me free pose. Oh, and he was nice to my cats which is always a bonus in my mind!

We created some beautiful images, and I couldn’t be happier with them! I’d highly recommend working with him! The skittles were a nice touch too 😉😋 x

Pre shoot comms were fab and during the shoot itself he was very chatty, friendly and professional. He even let me have the red skittles!!

What a cracking shoot!

Concise, professional pre-shoot comms, with sooo much chatting on the day, Sam is an excellent conversationalist. We even found time to shoot! Arrived organised, well-prepared and the shoot just flew by. Trying different sets, Sam gave his suggestions, but was happy for me to add my ideas and interpretations too.

This was probably the most efficiently organised shoot I've ever undertaken and impeccable pre shoot comms aside, Boardslide definately did not disappoint on the shoot itself! Chatty and friendly, with a fondness for millions ;), he was also focused on what he wanted to achieve from the shoot and achieved this in a professional, productive and relaxed manner. I wouldn't hesitate to shoot with Boardslide again, a great guy with a wickedly dry sense of humour and great behind the camera! Very highly recommended.
