George Harrisons 'Rocky'

A guitar I made over Christmas time whilst in lockdown inspired by the late George Harrison of 'The Beatles' who in later years went on to do his own thing, he and John Lennon both got a Sonic Blue Stratocaster and after taking some 'substances' he decided to paint his Strat with some Dayglo paints and ended up with similar to what I have done here with mine, he used it on 'I am a Walrus' and 'All you need is love' among others and is my main workhorse out of all of mine along with my sole blue acoustic guitars, I could have made the paint neater as having the skills to do so, but also wanted to have a hand painted feel as his would have done, so went with that option. It got its nickname Rocky as he wanted to dedicate it to some of his Rockabilly idols also on the headstock he said he painted his good friend Eric Clapton.
