I love this man! Though having worked with Mark on numerous occasions underwater, this was our first shoot together on dry land. Shooting at Snowdrop Studios, Mark’s model failed to show yet he willingly shared his vast experience of lighting with us and took a series of fantastic shots throughout the session. Hand cooked sausage rolls and a bottle of fizz added to the joy of the shoot, as did Mark’s humour; he’s a delight to be around and I look forward to our next shoot, whether it be water or land based. Thank you Mark x

Another highly enjoyable shoot with Mark although this time we were shooting underwater. This was a new genre to me and Mark's pre Comms and care on the day made for a much smoother process.

Incredibly patient and spot on with direction (when possible) we managed to get some wonderful shots and I look forward to working with Mark again soon.

The thing I value most highly about Mark is his attitude towards his models: he is constantly aware of their comfort (particularly relevant when shooting under water) and always strives to ensure that they enjoy the experience of the shoot as well as making sure they receive images they can be proud of. His manner and attitude is that of a gentleman from start to finish and I’ve yet to come across anyone who has more respect for their models or who has more appreciation of what they endure to achieve the shot he is aiming for.

My second shoot with Marco and we had an absolute ball. I felt completely comfortable and it made the shoot really flow. We had fun with different styles and ideas. Marco definitely has an eye for getting the finish just right whether it's an arm out of place or the way the image is edited after the shoot. Looking forward to more collaborations with Marco in the future!

I'd had a lot of great pre Comms with Marco. By the time we got to the day of the shoot I knew exactly what our shoot plan was. We were shooting outdoors and Marco was ever the professional but also very attentive ensuring that I was comfortable, warm enough etc. At all times. His direction was great making sure we both got the best shots we could from our time.

I would be very happy to work with Marco again and would recommend him without hesitation.

Always conscious of our comfort and safety, Mark works hard to ensure that his models enjoy the experience and get the most from the unique opportunity to shoot underwater. He has some very creative ideas and it’s always exciting to discuss a concept and watch it develop from inception to the finished image.

I don’t know how I can praise Marco more than I have done so already. I think the fact that I have gone back to work with him time and time again speaks volumes. Another underwater shoot together and what a day it was!

Marco puts in 110% effort every time, and is always trying to get that perfect shoot for his models. He is kind, warm and welcoming and very easy to get along with.

He never gives him self enough credit for the hard work he puts in and everything that is done behind the scenes and prior to the shoot to make sure he achieves the best quality results and that everything runs smoothly on the day.

I have not had a better shoot with someone that puts me at ease and makes sure I am comfortable no matter what pose I am trying to grasp underwater. And for that I am truly greatful.

Look forward to the next shoot with Marco and fingers crossed many more to come in the future!

Marco and Andy (Bogfrog) very kindly allowed me to attend one of their underwater shoots yesterday so I could get an idea of what is involved in underwater photography. It was a great day and an absolutely amazing experience. I have such respect for Marco, Andy and other underwater photographers as it's such a difficult genre. I never truly realised how hard it was until I actually tried it myself yesterday. Marco allowed me to shoot his models alongside him and was very pleasant and helpful throughout. Marco gets superb results from his underwater shoots. It would be lovely to work with him again.

Ive been lax and havent left a reference for Marco for our previous shoots. Ive worked with him so often now, ive lost count!

Our most recent was yesterday, i was lucky enough to be invited back to the pool for another stab at underwater modelling. Im always grateful to Marco for his patience and kindness. He gives direction and freedom to experiment in equal measure, which is lovely as a model.

I dont think any photographer takes care of their models quite like Marco does and i will happily shoot with him again and again.

I’ve just read Marco’s three most recent references which are from Ivee, Arol and Abbye, all of whom I’ve worked alongside with Marco as the photographer, and all three have eloquently summed up what it’s like to work with him.

First and foremost, Marco is a gentleman.......here we have a photographer who truly respects his models and always has their welfare at the forefront of his mind. He is generous with his time, his ideas and his experience; as Abbye said, he never gives himself enough credit for the work he produces and so I join with her and other models in singing his praises.

Thank you once again for a very enjoyable underwater shoot. You are a joy to spend time with and one day I hope to work with you on dry land.
