Far Forest Studio

We were pleased to welcome Baltasar to our studio yesterday for his first visit.

He was a perfect gent in every way and very versatile in front of the camera. I could see that everyone who was here got on well with him and the whole shoot seemed to flow exactly as planned.

I would think working with two ladies at the levels they did would be a great challenge to most but he seemed to take it all in his stride.

Highly recommended to any photographer or studio and we hope he manages to visit us again soon with another project.

I had a first shoot with Baltasar today which we had planned to include solo and artistic soft b/g. Pre-shoots comms were excellent, and reflected his enthusiastic approach to his work and flow of creative ideas. He was punctual, and enthusiastic on the shoot, working steadily throughout the afternoon, and was always prepared to give his best efforts. I would happily work with him again, and recommend him as a male model.

Baltasar and I teamed up to do a shoot with a photographer who wanted to shoot retro style artistic b/g images. We had some pre-shoot comms to agree styles, and, after some initial shyness, he relaxed into the shoot and we produced some great images. This style of work was new to me, and Baltasar's approach and his artistic ideas meant we were able to work comfortably towards the photographer's goals. I'd be happy to work with him again, and can recommend him for similar projects.

Baltasar and i communicated well before the shoot. His written communication is excellent. this shoot was a challenge for me my first BG and in an unfamiliar appartment. Adam arrived on time ready to shoot. He had not met his shoot partner before and their experence level and styles differed. However after a while, with some coaching and encouragement Adam got into the part and I am pleased with the results. He is a photogenic and creative model with experience in art nude.

I would recommend him, based on my knowledge of him at this shoot.

I had a shoot yesterday​ with Adam. Me and Adam had no communication prior to the shoot as all was planned through the photographer. Adam arrived on time and was fully prepared.

Due to Adam's lack of experience in the genre we didn't start of brilliantly confident. But as the shoot progressed Adam came very much to his own and I'm confident we have some brilliant shoots.

I would advise Adam to become more confident in his posing and learn expression. He's extremely photogenic and would through more experience make a great model.

I would recommend and definitely work with him again.

I met Baltasar on the coach on the way to a duo shoot (as planned), he's a very friendly, passionate and professional individual. I really enjoyed my duo shoot with him and it was interesting to work on his ideas at the shoot because of it's creativity. His passion really shines through and he's great at playing the part and getting into the role. Thanks for shooting with me. Hopefully we will work together soon :D

This was my first time working with a male model on a shoot.

Before a shoot Adam likes to send lots of links to pictures of potential shoot ideas and poses. I found this a bit overwhelming and counterproductive as it meant there wasn't enough focus. So on the day I still wasn't 100% clear about what we were doing.

In the end we did a mixture of recreating pictures and trying our own ideas and we got some beautiful images out of it.

Adam is friendly, chatty, and passionate about modelling, so although there was the communication breakdown, I wouldn't rule out working with him again, and would still recommend working with him.

My first time shooting Baltasar today and I was very impressed.

Do not let the fact that he is a hobbyist model deter you as this guy has a professional attitude with a strong desire to produce fantastic images and a very clear idea of what he would like to achieve from his work.

We worked on and round a concept that he suggested to me a while back and that we gradually developed.

I am already thinking of the next one.

My first shoot with a male model !!! Baltasar came down from Manchester ! On time .we shot studio and location.. Enthusiastic Guy ! you bet ! .He has a dedicated approach to his work.. For first time shooting we did good .. Good cooperation and team work with the BOY /GIRL shoot. The location shoot was a total contrast to the studio. This guy Is "A" ok ! Ray H

I have shot with Baltasar a few times now both at my old studio and now my new. He is reliable and enthusiastic and really cares about getting the details right. Like me he is inspired by classical art. All of my shoots with him have been pleasant and efficient and he can be relied upon to produce good results.
