Hi, I'm Helen. I have been modelling since losing the majority of my hair with Alopecia. My hair is growing back now, with some patches left, but I choose to keep it shaved. I'm all about celebrating diversity and challenging beauty standards, whilst helping others and building my confidence up, and am an ambassador for Alopecia UK. I am also agency signed with The Casting Collective (extras agency for TV, film and commercials).

I fell into modelling through photography, and love working with passionate creatives who can bring new ideas to shoots. I am an ex international fencer so access to swords isn't a problem! I am also comfortable freediving and modelling underwater. I have a bit of a whacky side for spontaneous ideas on shoots at times, but for that I make no apologies! I also have a slight obsession with organza/voile, and will inevitably wrap myself in it at some point during a shoot, given half the chance....

Current interests: elaborate styling and big dresses, soft feminine styling, whacky concepts (the whackier the better), colourful fashion, and fine art nude in nature. I know my portfolio doesn't reflect this yet! I also have an extensive Pinterest board of ideas which I'm trying to work through!

So what do you get when booking me? As an ex athlete i'm hugely driven to be the best I can be. Quite simply I will do everything I can to get you the perfect shot. As a landscape photographer also, climbing rocks, wading into water....all a breeze.  I still train, so I am athletic in physique, and strong. I'm comfortable in both feminine looks and more edgy masculine looks....quite simply i'm a blank canvas and a bit of a chameleon! With a shaved head, i'm sure I can bring something new to your portfolio, juxtaposing my shaved head with feminine styling.

I'm based in Gateshead but can travel outside of the North East and internationally as long as my expenses are covered.

I have no tattoos, no piercings and have had no cosmetic surgery. I have one scar beneath my knee on my left leg from knee surgery, I'm not self conscious of it and to me it's not that visible. However it's easy to edit out in post, and I have no problem with photographers doing so if they wish.

NO REQUESTS FOR ADULT WORK/GLAMOUR/FETISH PLEASE.
Up to tasteful art nude. I am particularly interested in fine art nude in nature, as it seems to speak to me. However, I do not allow open leg or any labia to be visible in my images. I understand accidents happen when changing poses etc but by agreeing to my terms you agree to delete any images I'm not comfortable with and not use them. I have no interest in glamour or erotica modelling. As such, I do not consent to photos of me being placed on adult sites.

For bodypainting, at the moment i'm comfortable with topless but retaining minimal underwear on bottom half.

Please explain to me clearly what is required prior to booking me so I can decide if the shoot is for me. Please don't assume I will be happy shooting anything. I'm not a prude, but have PTSD and therefore I need to be mindful of some situations.

My rates for fashion to swimwear are £25 p/hr with a minimum 2 hour booking. Lingerie/boudoir would be £30 p/hr. Plus travel costs. Happy to work TFP if I feel it will add to my portfolio for these levels, so feel free to get in touch to discuss ideas.

Please note I will not do any nude shoots on a TFP basis, and my rate for nude is £40 per hour (minimum 2 hour booking).

Rates will be slightly higher if I am on tour to cover expenses of accommodation etc

If a paid shoot is arranged, cancellations of 48 hours or more ahead of the scheduled shoot will not be charged. Less than 48 hours will incur a 50% payment, and less than 24 hours will require full payment. If I have incurred non-refundable travel costs (eg. pre-booked train fares), these may require reimbursement if I can't book an alternative shoot at the location.

NB I will NOT wear wigs for a shoot, under any circumstances.
