Shot with Astou today at a group shoot at the Loft.

What an amazing model, responded well to requests for poses, but was also happy to change poses herself.

Myself (Jeff), having worked with Astou several times before, we booked Astou for a full day.

This involved a group shoot, one-to-one session then another group shoot.

Astou has a very unique look, she is very confident and is an amazing model.

From a 10.15am start right through till 7pm, Astou produced pose after pose and wow'd our togs from which we received great feedback throughout the day.

No doubt we will be booking her again later in the year.

After photographing Astou twice for my own portfolio, it seemed sensible to book her for a workshop. I reckon that was a good decision.

I will use the same phrase that I used before - she's an alternative supermodel, and Birmingham's best-kept photographic secret. Quiet, at the same time as being confident and absolutely assured in her posing, she delivered brilliant image after brilliant image for everyone present.

Good comms, good everything. The acid test is whether I'd book her for another workshop, and the answer is, very definitely, yes!

Astou, ever the professional, arrived off the train with a rucksack on her back, and towing a suitcase behind her, but still looked like a supermodel striding towards me! You see, the thing about Astou is this; she listens to my whacky ideas, mulls them over for a few seconds, and always (so far!), says "I'm in"! Once again we had a fun filled shoot, slightly marred by an annoying technical issue; but some super pictures were created despite that. As always - 10/10 :)

well, just finished my first shoot with Astou and even before i start looking at the images felt i needed to put this out there. She is an ab fab model to work with, nothing was any trouble for her, she put in some great poses. Book a shoot with her, you wil not be dissapointed.

Had my first shoot with Astou this week, it most definitely won't be my last, She's awesome. As her previous reference said, an alternative Supermodel. Fabulous figure, beautiful, easy to get along with and has a great sense of humour. Astou arrived on time and had a wonderful selection of outfits for the shoot. A very collaborative creative and inspirational young lady. She poses beautifully without direction but responds perfectly when asked to modify a pose or try something different. A thoroughly enjoyable and very productive shoot, can't wait till the next one.

An unreserved 100% recommendation from me.

Book her, book her, book her. As soon as Rankin finds her, it'll be too late.

Everything about Astou is just right. She's tall, strong, limber, beautiful, and throws poses as fast as your camera will go.

I'm stunned at the quality of the pictures on the back of my camera. All it needs is for me to upgrade my editing, and there are FPIs in there...

Had the please with working with astou again on a very hectic weekend for me ..crazy but fun and with the energy from this shoot ,was some high points, she came well prepared even with a light load lol and was very easy lovely to work with an direct .unfortunately my main camera had broke that day and was lucky enough to have a lower grade cam to work with .but she was understanding. Time flew by but sure got lots to work with..professional and fun ..and defo recommend .hope to work again when i got my gear and were allowed in hotels etc lol

I don’t understand why Astou is not making regular appearances in fashion publications! Our second shoot at Far Forest Studio, was even more amazing than our first! She a posing machine. She’s hard working. She’s fun. She’s lovely! (Her coffee is like creosote though lol!) 🙂

As usual, lots of communication in the build up to the shoot.

Astou turned up with a suitcase full of outfits.

We had a look around the venue and agreed on the order of the shoot, ending in the outdoor swimming pool.

Astou never fails to amaze me with her endless poses and enthusiasm throughout the shoot.

Astou is stunning with great features and her legs are longer than long!

This young lady is a dream to work with.

I hold Astou in the highest regard, she is unique.

This was our 3rd shoot together, this time it was not in the studio but in an amazing house. Calling it a house is an understatement.

This was our third shoot and by coincidence, Astou was rocking a different hair style each time. I'm into hair!

Astou absolutely belonged in this classy home.

We had a quick tour, decided where to shoot and got started.

Astou is an experienced model and has great poses and also accommodates my requests.

To me, Astou looks 6 feet tall but she tells me she's only 5'9". It must be those long legs deceiving me!

Astou is fairly quiet but she says I do all the talking lol.

I thoroughly enjoy working with Astou and we are making plans to go back as there are so many more rooms and areas to shoot in.

And then I need her back in the studio for some more bodyscaping!

I seem to have this ability of choosing really wonderful people to work with; and Astou is no exception! I had a couple of ideas for the shoot, but due to a technical hitch for one of them, and poor planning (outfits), on my part for the other, they didn’t quite work out! However, Astou was undaunted, and we continued with some awesome studio sets, and a couple of super outdoor sets too. We finished off with an impromptu portrait set, which was a lot of fun, and something we have agreed to do more of for our next shoot. Thanks again Astou, you were brilliant! :)

I had a great shoot with Astou at Image Red. We worked in both The Loft, with its beautiful natural light, and the main studio covering a variety of styles. Her pre-shoot communications were excellent and she arrived on time with outfits that met my brief.

Astou is a true professional, poses effortlessly and changes quickly so we got through lots of sets. She takes a keen interest in the back of the camera adjusting her poses when necessary. Together we created some stunning images.

Above all, Astou is a lovely person and a joy to work with.

A fab girl to work with, good communication from first contact to finished shoot. great personality, turned up on time ready to shoot,with outfits to match what we discussed shooting, has good ability to pose on her own with very little direction, nothing was to much trouble knows what she wants and gives 100% to the shoot. cant wait to work with Astou again. I would definitely recommend working with Astou.

I looked at Astou's portfolio and thought I might be able to shoot with her.

Communications were spot on .......and as soon as I started to shoot with her......BANG!!!!

It was dynamic overdrive!!!

She came to my home studio for a four hour shoot with me and it was delight all the way.

I hardly had to describe anything that I wanted to do, than she just did it....and how.

What a delight to shoot with such a lovely person, who is so relaxed yet charged with dynamite.There is no question that she works out a the Gym and that she looks after her skin. It is quite perfect.

I don't normally drivel on this way, but she is something special!!!!

Some models have IT....the thing that you need to be able to model for a camera - from the word go. Every muscle, finger, toe, position of all the parts of the body, are in just the right place. And everything filled with a wonderful dynamic.

I can't wait to shoot some more....if she agrees,and/but WHERE?

You might gather that I recommend Astou without any qualification whatsoever.

Great communications from making the booking and plans for the shoot.

My to do list was endless, we were going to be busy.

I decided to take a few things out..... but added even more back in!

As soon as Astou arrived in the studio, we went through the plan once again. Nothing was too much for Astou to try.

Astou moves freely from pose to pose and there were a few images I showed her that I wanted to replicate and we had a good go at them!

Astou was such a good girl I treated her to warm water in the spray when we did the bodyscaping!

She is very professional and didn’t even laugh when I fell over backwards (we’ll not much lol).

BOC images look amazing.

This was our second shoot and there will be a third!
