An Eye for Beauty

It was Artemis' 11th REMOTE shoot but my FIRST! I couldn't have asked for anyone better with whom to cooperate in these circumstances. We had prepared what we were going to do over the 2 hours, in advance, and her communications as always were very good and helpful, and she patiently explained things to me. When we began, WhatsApp did not work properly and so we only had verbal dialogue on our phones, though I could obviously see what was going on in the shoot area. Sadly she couldn't see me but that was of minor importance! By a careful use of several lovely backdrops which Artemis has created during lockdown we were able to get a nice selection of monochromatic colour sets with two outfits per b/g. Finally we moved to one of her 'scenes' at the other end of the room and for 30 minutes worked there for something a bit different. In advance she had laid out a number of outfits to match the various scenarios so that very little time was spent between each change; and I did appreciate that.

I have worked with Artemis on two previous occasions and have always found her to be polite, helpful, enthusiastic, creative, imaginative and so the adjectives could continue! No more true than today. No doubt we will have a 'live shoot' when things take a turn for the better, but meanwhile I thoroughly recommend Artemis remotely, and hope to be returning in due course.

Gothic Image

It was hardly my first shoot with Artemis, but my first remote one. Knowing each other helped a lot, but in any case we'd discussed ideas well beforehand and knew exactly what we wanted to do.

The shoot itself went as well as expected with a few minor technical niggles that we sorted as we went along, but otherwise flawless and the results are excellent.

My comments on Artemis as a model? Don't be silly, just read the other 1544 references! Absolutely and thoroughly recommended, and if you're nervous about remote shoots, this is a good place to start. :-)

Artemis is an absolute consummate professional in every aspect of her work, so she was the natural choice to pop my cherry on remote shoots.

I had a natural aversion to remote shooting, I like to feel the light, and move about to get the right angle and the right light. I normally have a big bag of accessories to add that something to the image.

Artemis’s attention to detail and co-ordination meant that I did not have to worry about accessories. She had the latest camera with good lenses.

Bang on time Artemis contacted me, we had a couple of issues with the internet which she quickly and calmly resolved.

The shoot went well and was over all to quickly, we reviewed the images as we went along, the quality of the link could have been better, with a little bit of delay and jerky movement, (the images at my end were pixelated, only to be expected as we were shooting in Raw, but I could trust Artemis’s analysis of the images) We developed a system of me chatting whilst taking the images and I think there was only 1 image of Artemis exiting stage left due to the delay. The images were delivered within a couple of hours and I am delighted with the quality.

Would I do it again, you betcha, this a great way to keep current, to keep creative, to keep models employed and safe. At the end of lockdown would I continue remote shooting, probably not, unless there is full internet access to the beach at the Algarve.

In summary Artemis is stunning, creative, patient, helpful and a joy to work with, it was a nice relaxed atmosphere to shoot in. Highly recommended.

It's always great to work with Artemis and over the years we've shot in a myriad of places.

This was the first time however that we'd shot remotely. I was very wary at first but Artemis had produced a hymn sheet setting out precisely how it would all work. Very simple and easy to understand. A few minutes of familiarisation on the day and off we went. Artemis, as always was patient and encouraging and we ended up with some beautiful shots. All in all a brilliant few hours. I'm certainly going back for more.

Artism

My first ever E shoot was amazing! Not only a great model but great teacher too! She was laid back, friendly,and didnt mind redoing a pose if i got a shot wrong. Being internet there can be a lag sometimes so a couple of misfires from my end! But would say 98% perfect. 2% either me or Internet. Not model.

We did so many firsts today. First time she shot with Sony. first time E shooter. First time using her trunk as a prop.

She is such a joy to work with friendly and know how to pose and is very very creative. She knows her stuff and How to use it to its best use. so many ideas and things we can do. Time just flys by. with no hickups.

Cant wait until lock down ends and i can work with her in real life.

Great to have shot with Artemis again after just over a year due to the pandemic. This time it was to help her work through a test shoot so that she could get used to remote shoots before diving into the world of remote shooting.

Artemis is alway great to work with. She's creative both in styling and sets. We shot three looks so that she would have selection of image available to help her promote her remote shooting with selected images. I'm sure Artemis is going to take the remote world by storm as she has done with everything she puts her mind to which is to give 100% and get the best results in camera.

Highly recommend Artemis both as a in person model (when it's safe to again) and now that she is about to dive into remote shoot, as a model that shoots remotely.

Jewelled Earth

I absolutely ADORED my remote shoot with Artemis!! Crazy that it was actually her first proper remote session yet the results are of superb quality, portfolio worthy gorgeousness! This speaks volumes of her awesome adaptability, brave creative drive and quick-thinking mind. She can master so many genres and styles!

Artemis is a great friend of mine and also perfectly on my wavelength creatively. We already shot together a number of times over the years, and in this remote style she continues to bring the perfect balance of working with my loose ideas and fusing them with her own artistry and input. Perfect collaboration!

Artemis had some awesome ideas with her stunning lingerie and beautiful make-up, and despite working virtually with miles apart, I could still feel that the images had my stamp and vision, since I was able to communicate the composition, angles and plans I had in mind, add changes to the backdrop, refine the poses and mood together. Her dedication, enthusiasm, patience, helpful suggestions and eye for detail are everything I value in a model, allowing us to work on a fantastic range of images to be their best.

As always hugely and utterly highly reccomended! Remote shoots are an artform in themselves to be harnessed and with this superb creative soul they are a whole new creative world to explore!

A short, opportunity casual lifestyle shoot organised at short notice. It was great to catch up with her and, as always, she was simply superb. Although she had been a little "under-the-weather" for a couple of weeks (not Covid), she was still totally dedicated and covering up my limitations with her amazing abilities.

Of course I recommend Artemis Fauna, she has no equal!

The Mad Hatter

A marvellous booking with Artemis today on her duo event with Carla Monaco. Artemis is amazing, one of our themes was some soft focus Guccione style images and her research and knowledge on these was brilliant. I was ably instructed in an excellent approach to generating the soft focus style in camera and this is what always happens with Artemis. She always teaches me something, it is part of her make up in that she wants a photographer to leave with some beautiful pictures, something special. Well we did just that thanks to her and Carla and I’m delighted to recommend her to other creatives. I look forwards to working with you again Artemis, you’re a true gem thank you x

As part of a small group I shot Artemis with Carla Monaco. It was the second time I had shot Artemis, both times stunning, fabulous, so easy to work with.

Had my first shoot with the incredibly talented Artemis at her Studio weekend at Inspire Studio. Artemis is not only a great model, but a very knowledgeable lady regarding lighting for the studio. We had a good chat during our shoot talking about our joint love of the Algarve and especially the food. She poses with ease and has great ideas of what works combined with my ideas of the type of shoot I was looking for.

Absolutely recommend working with her and hopefully meet up and shoot with her in the Algarve.

I shot with Artemis for the last couple of hours at her studio day at Inspire Studios - and it went amazing!

She's stunningly beautiful, captures the pose effortlessly and knows exactly where the light is - I never needed to provide any direction except to say that I loved a pose she'd drawn and to keep in that vein.

Two hours simply flew by, and we got some of possibly my best images yet! My only note to self is to ask why I've not shot with her before...

I happily and heartily recommend Artemis to any imagist.

What can I say about Artemis , what a fantastic model.

Very easy going and a good laugh , her poses come naturally and needed no direction at all.

Artemis came with more clothes than I could count which mad for a fab and varied shoot.

I can honestly say one of my favourite shoots to date.

With so many references I'm sure it's all been said before but from a studio owners perspective who wouldn't want the awesome and so very talented Artemis Fauna in their studio doing studio days?!

Apart from being a fantastic and very versatile model who changes her look so easily to suit many genres, she brings a copious amount of outfits to style with and over the 2 days never ceased to amaze me with what she walked out the changing room in next!

Equally she is such a lovely person to be around, friendly, easy to get on with and fantastic with the photographers too. Disappointed I didn't get a chance to shoot with her myself.....just going to have to get her back again and I can't wait! Absolutely recommend working with her if you get the opportunity.

I have tried to work with Artemis on several occasions but we never managed to get our diaries together until today. I cannot add anything which has not already been said in her other references. However I cannot praise Artemis enough as she is a total professional and wonderful model. She was well prepared and posed without direction, making suggestions how I could improve the images.

Artemis is friendly and it is a joy to spend time in her company. It was well worth the wait and I cannot wait to work with Artemis again. It is a pleasure to recommend Artemis.

I had a fantastic shoot with Artemis at Inspire Studio in Salisbury yesterday. I last shot Artemis three years ago, and I really shouldn’t have waited so long to shoot with her again.

Artemis is just great to work with, friendly, chatty, professional with an endless series of poses, and her suggestions greatly improved my initial ideas. There is really not much more I can say given her 1500+ references, other than, thank you for a great set of images.

Ghost Light Photography

My latest shoot with the amazing Miss Fauna was the luckiest of lucky chances. On learning she was travelling fairly close to my location with Carla Monaco, I figured I had nothing to lose in seeing if they fancied a short location shoot to break their journey. And they both said “yes”! A flurry of messages were exchanged and the outline of a plan was formed, just as well as this was all put together just a few days before the shoot.

I arrived early, but they had arrived earlier still. As had half the local population. Not to worry, there were plenty of opportunities for us in less travelled areas of the woods. With a basic theme of “Autumn”, we were looking to make the most of the slowly changing colours. There is a great natural quality in working with two models who know each other so well. It was an absolute joy shooting with these two ladies.

WOW - rarely if ever, has a model I have not worked with before made such an impression. Absolute top professional in every respect. Fun, full of energy and enthusiasm, cheeky, gorgeous, brilliant poser, and a fabulous self-styler who brought plenty of great garments and accessories. I could shoot with Sarah day after day after day - (in fact I just did! lol) she really is that good. I am excited at the prospect of bringing Sarah back to Belfast again soon! X
