Roger booked a 1:1 workshop with me covering a variety of lighting techniques and he is a delight to work with.

Roger is very enthusiastic about the process, and is passionate about making creative images. He has clear visions for what he wants to create and communicates these very effectively despite using a second language to do it. I found Roger to be very considerate towards everyone on-set, and he picked up and absorbed a lot of technique very quickly.

You can learn the technical aspects of lighting and Roger seems to have no problem doing this. It's much harder to learn how to be creative and generate ideas though, and fuel that creativity with enthusiasm. Roger already has that side of things sorted and I know that as his technical toolkit grows, he going to get better and better :)

Roger is also a very likeable person, with a great sense of humour, and we had a great afternoon making some fantastic images. I highly recommend working with him!

Pre comms were excellent. Roger was over in the Uk attending a one to one lighting workshop with Carl Grim; I was lucky enough to shoot with him the following day at Paul’s Studio in Reading.

We discussed ideas and shared images for inspiration, so we had a good idea of what we would aim to achieve during the shoot.

Roger is fantastic!! We instantly got on and I felt totally relaxed and at ease in his company. We had such a great time creating images together. Roger is friendly and professional and 100% respectful. We had a great laugh, and he bought cheeses and chive Pringles for snacks!! Winner!! …. And his enthusiasm!! Oh he has bags of enthusiasm!

You can teach anyone to do anything if you put your mind to it, but you can’t teach passion. And Roger has a passion for creating images that will take him a long way!

Thank you Roger for choosing to work with me on your first solo shoot. It was such a great shoot and I wish you all the best going forward on your photography journey. I look forward to working with you again soon

I had the great pleasure of meeting Iverin when he attended a one-2-one lighting workshop at my studio.

I was impressed with his enthusiasm and deep-seated desire to create beautifully-lit images. Iverin is Norwegian but spends some time in the UK and is fluent in English.

He is courteous and friendly. Our model for the workshop, Cindafckinrella, tells me that she found Iverin to be respectful and easy to work with.
