So this is an emulsion lift technique as used with Polaroid photos, only this is with an A4 size transparent transfer film. I print the photo on to the film, seal it with a waterproof acrylic spray, and when it is dry, I soak the transfer (emulsion), in water until it lifts away from the backing, and then transfer the pic to some watercolour paper. The emulsion is gossamer thin and very fragile so it can be manipulated into position and messed around with before it dries onto the paper. I added the coffee stains to make it more arty! Lol! I then scan the print, and save it. Unfortunately, I do not have the space for a darkroom, so this is about as close as I can get to 'developing' some of the pictures I make. It allows me to get a bit more creative with my hobby, and it is a good excuse to actually print some photos too!
