What a fabulous day! After watching Angel rocking some Saxon/Norman looks (really! - see Eye for Beauty's reference), we set off into the streets of Bradford-on-Avon to grab some quirky fashion shots. It was always going to be "guerrilla-style", dodging pedestrians and heaving traffic, and Angel could not have been better... find a location; wait for the moment; pose! pose! pose!; and repeat. Massive energy and style on Angel's part - constant grins on mine :-).

This was a completely different genre to our last shoot, and clearly another strength in Angel's armoury. Perfect preparation, and perfect on the day. She is a delight to work with, and lovely to be with - as others have said, Angel has the energy of youth combined with maturity and professionalism that belies her years. Always makes for a highly enjoyable and highly producive shoot!

100+ recommendations already - and I'm very happy to add mine! Angel goes from strength to strength and no doubt will continue to do so. Very much looking forward to another shoot together.

An Eye for Beauty

Having been let down for a shoot by another model, Angel stepped into the breach with just a week's notice by rearranging another shoot herself, for which I am extremely grateful. The venue was booked, the costumes hired - and Angel completed the package. Her communications beforehand were second to none and she turned up on the train at Bradford on Avon bang on time. We used an ancient Saxon-Norman church in the town and with period costumes it was the most recent, but earliest historically of these shoots. Angel was great and clearly enjoyed the genre; she has the vitality and enthusiasm of youth with a maturity beyond her years. Another photo-book will certainly appear in the not too distant future. This is my third shoot with the lovely Angel this year, and I am so pleased to have made that initial overture. Now I hope she will participate in the next historic shoot in a couple of months; but if the dates don't work, we assured it won't be long before we work together again. Highly recommended.

Huge milestone for Angel...this being her 100th reference to what must be now well over 100 shoots!

What an honour and massive coincidence that I am writing the big 100th! Not planned at all...:-)

A quick 30 minute shoot and we managed to capture some great images. After some furniture reorganisation and whitening our main bedroom with some new materials I purchased we got creating...As usual the make up and preparation from Angel was faultless together with some new fashion accessories I think we are pretty pleased with the finished results.

Last word goes to the beautiful Angel who always puts in 100% into shooting. Not just with myself but with everyone she works with. I couldn't be more proud of the amazing shots she has produced with all you photographers and models over the last two years. So a huge well done to everybody who has worked with her and to everyone thinking of working with her? Look through her century of references and book her as soon as possible...

What a day this has been! Angel arrived on time and well prepared for an early morning start, having walked a three mile journey from the railway station to my house. A truly commendable action.

Since I first met this lovely lady and highly recommended model two years ago, I feel that we have truly embarked on a magical journey together. When I first discovered her portfolio, I sensed that she had a lot of potential and was someone who deserved a chance. It has given me great pleasure to watch her grow into the formidable act that she has become.

I have, in addition, come to regard Angel as a true friend whose opinion I value greatly. She is an incredibly patient, genuinely caring and understanding person who would jump through hoops of fire for anyone, although that would get you all thrown off this site!

As well as shooting fashion in the back garden in the beautiful morning sun on what was a cloudless day, we also shot in the nearby park. On our way back, Angel made a new fan who was in awe of her.

I contrast to some of the dainty, pseudo Victorian scenes which we captured on film, we also shot some art nude and lingerie which had a gritty edge. Angel and I looked at some visual ideas for inspiration, and once again she earned my greatest respect by paying such painstaking attention to detail in terms of hair, make up, poses, hand placements etc.

Angel made me feel like Cecil Beaton one minute and Rankin the next!

No sooner had I seen Angel back to the station, than I found myself excitedly waiting for our next shoot.

Thank you so much Angel for such an amazing and kaleidoscopic day which had so many unexpected twists and turns.

Having admired Angel’s Portfolio for quite some time I was delighted to be able to arrange a shoot with her.

It was simplicity itself to arrange as her communications and organizational skills were excellent and everything was arranged and the on day it went exactly as planned. I would describe Angel as awesome to work with but that superlative hardly does her justice - she really is a dream to shoot.

Angel takes direction and when asked made really helpful suggestions re poses and the location. I don’t think I have enjoyed a shoot so much for a while - certainly one of the best shoots I have ever done. Angel has such a positive attitude and was the consummate professional at all times whilst on the shoot additionally she had such a friendly and engaging personality - this combined with her innate creative instinct meant that the time on the shoot just flew by. I am already thinking about a themed shoot with her and would highly recommend her to all creatives.

Amazeballs

Fortuitously met Angel at a social run by mutual photography friends and agreed we'd like to work together. This came to fruition today. Pre-comms with Angel were excellent. Unexpectedly we were both new to location so scouted and discussed concepts and styles at the outset. Angel had come prepared with an impressive variety of outfits widening our options. As I hoped and expected from meeting Angel previously and reviewing her portfolio here, Angel was a delight to work with. We breezed through a number of set ups, time flying as it does when things run well. Some discussed executions will have to wait for another day. Angel can pose effortlessly without direction, can bring her own ideas and also follow requests. Back of camera looks promising. I hope to work with Angel again and recommend her highly as a skilled and personable model.

Angel and I had a fantastic shoot. The two hours spent in her company was a great joy, and we captured some great images along the way.

Angel was able to accommodate me being in the area at short notice, having just come back from her holiday. We had great pre-shoot comms, and on the day adapted our plans as we went, evolving into a very enjoyable and fruitful set.

We had plenty of changes of themes, highlighting Angel's beauty and fabulous figure.

Angel was chatty and helpful, making the whole time fly by.

I had my first shoot with Angel yesterday, and she was truly wonderful. We had great comunication prior to the shoot, and she arrived with a clear understanding of what was required.

Angel is intelligent, articulate, resourceful, and enthusiastic. She puts 100% effort into her work, and is genuinely keen for you to get the images you want. She is naturally chatty and easy to work with, and our four hours flew by.

For someone so young, she is supremely confident and professional, and perfectly at home in front of the camera. She came well prepared with suitable outfits based on our comms, took direction very well, and added her own sparkle. Her personality shone through as we worked, making the session both fun and rewarding.

I would highly recommend Angel, and look forward to working with her again soon.

This beautiful young lady was so welcoming to her home studio, we had a good chat and a splendid cuppa before we started. The three hours I spent with Angel were amazing, she gets in her zone and an absolute delightful model to work with, covering casual up to topless with every frame posed to perfection!

For our eleventh shoot together, Angel kindly invited me once more to shoot from her very beautiful home. The first thing I must say about Angel is that she is a true friend. She is so giving of herself that I find it hugely overwhelming.

Once again, she left me in awe of her as she worked incredibly hard and relentlessly during the eight hour day. Angel and I packed in so much today. In fact we explored many more ideas on this shoot than we had done previously.

In all fairness, I think Angel has only just begun, and that she will get better. She has already dropped more than one hint of what is to come.

With all the above in mind, I look forward to our next shoot. If for no other reason, I would highly recommend Angel just for her smile.

Great communications prior to the shoot were followed up with regular updates on Angel ‘s journey up to the studio. A beautiful young lady accompanied by her chaperone who was a fellow photographer and all round great guy, a pleasure to have around. Angel is bright and bubbly with a great personality and very hard working to deliver the images I’d outlined. She was very happy to work in the lake at Joel Hicks’s studio, we had discussed this but it’s still a challenge. Angel poses freely without masses of direction yet takes on board very easily a request to move her head a few inches to get better light. We ran through several genres including portraits, fashion, swimwear and artistic nudes and ended up with some gymnastic ribbon work for a fun half hour. Absolutely brilliant model, thoroughly enjoyable day and some great images created by her hard work. Thanks a bundle Angel, you are most highly recommended to other creatives.

Just had an excellent shoot with Angel, portrait and fashion in a wooded hilltop. Good pre-shoot communication sorting a location, and arrived dead on time.

Angel is a breeze to work with, she came with a case full of outfits covering a wide range of styles.

She poses naturally, Coping easily with the gusty winds blowing hair around.

I was very pleased with the images and would happily work with her again, highly recommended.

To our excitement, this shoot turns out to be our tenth one together, and this lovely lady is only the second model to have gone into double figures with me. It truly warms my heart whenever I think how she has blossomed, and continues to blossom, into such an absolutely wonderful model.

In addition, she is someone who is sincere, understanding, easy going and highly valued as a friend.

What an unforgettable shoot this was! It took place at my home, and for the first time, we shot in the back garden as we had the weather for it.

My mum, who has previously directed a few fashion scenes, was given kind permission by Angel to direct a lingerie scene - much to our collective amusement!

Angel and I, as always, had an incredible amount of fun on set and once again, she worked amazingly hard to deliver the goods.

Once again, Angel paid particular attention to detail regarding hair and make up. On my request, she adopted the Jane Birkin look. I found myself almost calling her Jane for the rest of the day!

I always look forward to my next shoot with the highly gifted, unique and one hundred per cent dedicated Angel, and I already look forward to our next one.

Managed to squeeze in a solo/Duo shoot with Kamilablue and as usual Angel Black produces stunning looks, stunning poses which only equates to stunning captures. Poses with such ease to every shot and cant praise her enough.

Great energy with her beautiful nature adds so much more to the enjoyment of working with her.

This was my second shoot with Angel, this time on location on a beautiful sunny day. The pre shoot comm's were excellent and Angel was all ready to go when I arrived. We travelled to Dartmoor where we visited two locations and shot a range of genres including portraits, quirky fashion and art nude with rocks and mossy banks.

Again Angel was able to produce beautiful and expressive poses working with fabrics and working in a strong wind she was able to produce amazing and stunning aerial manoeuvrers. The day went so quickly and we produced a wide range of pictures. Angel brings emotion and elegance to the pictures creating great stories. Angel was easy to get along with, interesting to talk with and really great to work with. I certainly look forward to further shoots with Angel and I recommend Angel most highly.

It must be said, firstly, that in the short time I have known both Angel and John Black, I have come to regard them as true friends. I think of them with nothing but affection.

To be perfectly honest and objective, they are also among the most highly talented people that I have the pleasure to know.

My eighth shoot with Angel proved to be no less wonderful than its predecessors. I had been welcomed once more to shoot from her home. Today, we were blessed with fine weather, and so we also took advantage of some outdoor scenes.

I was grateful as Angel led me to some small but fabulous locations including a park near her home.

As always, John proved to be the hostess with the mostest as he kindly provided lunch and also drove Angel and I to a stunning outdoor location in the nearby hills which had some gorgeous foliage as well as a breath taking view.

Angel yet again proved herself as a class act model as she moved from art nude and lingerie to vintage fashion with apparent effortlessness. She is someone that I have always had the greatest respect for, being that she is so meticulous about her hair and make up.

Not only did I have such an unforgettable shoot, but indeed I look at it as one of my highlights of summer 2019.

Thank you ever so much once again Angel. I look forward immensely to our next shoot.
