I had an honour of working with Andy during lighting workshop at York Photo Studio and it was just amazing. He is such a talented, knowledgeable and skilled photographer, master of using light! I have learnt so much in this short period of time and cannot stress enough how inspiring and professional he is. Andy is also a very kind person, gives clear directions and communication is just brilliant. Very recommended!

What a freaking STAR Andy is! I worked with Andy alongside Mia Resa and it was a fabulous shoot - probably one of my favourites of the year!

His pre-communication was incredibly diret - he told me exactly what he wanted to get out of the shoot, and exactly how he wanted me to feel after we had finished... and it happened - it was a phenomenal shoot!

Andy is down to earth, hilariously funny, so laid back he's horizontal, relaxed and yet totally professional. You can see that this man has a million and one creative ideas, but is unsure where to start due to time or other obstacles.

He is a MASTER of light, and a total perfectionist. He's also incredibly honest; letting you know bluntly if an idea is a bad one, or if a pose doesn't work - something I highly appreciate, especially from a fellow creative!

We shot through a number of levels, duo with Mia and solo from us both (art nude, lingerie, mild erotic).

The images I have seen from the day have absolutely blown me away. If you ever want to have a confidence boost, or to feel sexy for a day - BOOK ANDY! I can guarantee you will come away feeling like a £10million, especially after you see the finished shots!

I would also describe Andy as sensitive and caring too - we talked alot before the shoot, through the day, and even after, so I feel I've gotten a real glimpse of the man behind the camera.

I approached Andy to shoot as I loved his control of light, his editing style and because I thought he was someone I could really learn from regardless of what point in my career I was at. Luckily for me, I was very new in my journey and the pointers and advice he gave me still stand me in good stead and will through my career. I attended a photography master class held at Yorkphotostudio run by Andy Wright. What a cracking event. Totally recommended, I hope for the sake of those that did not make this date that Andy runs further events, something there for everyone and his down to earth style means that everyone will gain from his events. Don't miss!!! Oh and he takes some cracking images along with running Pro Trade Printing, which amongst its range of services produce cracking canvas!

Well, Andy is a very much well known photographer in the West Yorkshire community and I never thought id get the chance to work with him! When he accepted my offer to attend a workshop I was pretty much screaming on the inside with excitement. He gave me a test shoot to see if I was up to scratch for the event and it went swimmingly! We had little time but we smashed through poses (with his guidance) and I couldn't believe it was me in the images when I received them back! He knows how to make you completely comfortable, brings out your confidence and makes you feel sexy! I cant thank you enough Andy for what you've done for my portfolio ( and my self confidence). 10/10 ;)

As a very well known (and loved) West Yorkshire based Photographer, I jumped at the chance of organising a Masterclass with Andy to demonstrate some of his skills. We agreed on a plan to demonstrate to a group of photographers how to work with a single light source and then edit the images to show the models in stunning contrast. But Andy did more than that, he explained in simple terms how he organised a shoot from conception through to execution. How to set models at ease, how to treat them with the utmost respect, yet have a good laugh and come away with amazing images......

All 11 photographers (including myself) left the studio at the end of a long day thrilled with what they had learned and the images they took away to work on with their new found knowledge.

I would highly recommend Andy to run similar workshops - as well as for his photography skills.

Had the great pleasure of attending Andy's lighting masterclass at York Photo studio. I have been an admirer of his work for a number of years now and jumped at the chance to attend the event he ran. He knows his stuff, that's very easy to say, but, he puts his thoughts across in a very easy to understand, no nonsense fashion. Its very clear that he actually does use the KISS principle. The second stage of the event was to run through his post pro workflow. The was where the attention to detail shone through. Very good communicator, all steps were clear and well thought out. I attended Andy's masterclass lighting tuition course yesterday along with another model organised by York Photography Studios (Kevin Prime)

It was a brilliant day and a successful one at that.

We have a great working relationship, as per comms we're great from start to finish. Andy is a true gent while the working environment is always relaxed i can guarantee he always delivers shots after shots!

What can I say? I've worked a couple of times with Andy and each time I have been absolutely blown away by the images I've received. Not only is he a great photographer but he's also a great guy and really helps put people at ease. We always have a laugh at our shoots and I can't wait to work with him again.

I can never believe it's me when I receive the images, he's just excellent at everything he does. Would highly recommend him to anyone wanting to do dance / art nude / lingerie.
