We shot some beautiful dance, fitness and lingerie and he made me feel very comfortable, made me laugh and knew exactly what he wanted and how to direct the shot. FDQ Photography

I attended a lighting workshop hosted by Andy yesterday at DenbyStarr studio. I've admired Andy's work for a while and, after taking some time away from photography to focus on work, jumped at the chance to learn from someone like him. I wasn't disappointed.

Andy is an honest straight talker and clearly knows his stuff. I much prefer a practical teaching method as opposed to theory and that's what he provided. I asked plenty of questions and he was more than happy to take the time to answer them all.

The work Andy produces speaks for itself and after spending an afternoon with him left me filled with confidence and a bag full of new tricks to play with on future shoots.

If you get the chance to attend one of his workshops, don't think twice. Book it.

After applying to one of Andy's casting calls through facebook, I jumped at the chance, i mean "hello it's Andy Wright???" As an avid admirer of his photography I was uber excited I was getting the chance to work with him.

From the moment I set foot in the studio Andy remained his professional self. I warmed to him very quickly due to his wicked sense of humour and his awesome cups of coffees oh yes he makes the best!

When he showed me several boc images I was in awe. I knew he was going to make it fab but I didn't realise just how much

Having worked with Andy on 3 ocassion he has delivered everytime, we have remained good friends since.

Highly recommended so ladies if you want an outstanding portfolio Andy is your man.

What a top guy!!

Shot with Andy in Jan after I replied to one of his Facebook casting posts! We arranged the shoot at DenbyStarr Studio, Denby Dale.

On arrival Andy was there brew in hand and instantly I knew we were going to get along.

He's the type of guy who doesn't mince his words, says everything as it is and I do respect that!

He is very confident, friendly, easy-going and a damn good photographer.

It was effortless together to create stunning images. It just seemed to flow and we both seemed to really enjoy the shoot.

Andy is one of only 2 photographers I have done a joint shoot with and being a huge fan of Andy's work I jumped at chance.

Andy is a fantastic photographer and his attention to detail is second to non, his use of light is so simple yet many of us (myself included) seem to miss the simple things and he can do things with one light that many photographers I know use multiple to get the same effect..

He's a right nice chap as well, He speaks to the models well and everyone I know who has shot with him leaves the shoot feeling better about themselves than when they arrived, no matter how they feel about themselves.

If you are a model that Andy wants to work TF with then snap his hand off, If he won't work tf don't take offence and just pay the man, he will add to any portfolio!

If you are a photographer and have the opportunity to work alongside him, then again jump at the chance, my work has jumped light years ahead of where it was before we wirked together.

Enough gushing now (was it £50 we agrees for this?)

I was soo nervous to shoot with Andy as I had heard a lot of good things about him and the high standards of his work. But Andy instantly made me feel very comfortable and was very welcoming, we did half a day of shooting and time just flew by since we we're having soo much fun. I'm incredibly grateful for having the opportunity to work with Andy as he is incredibly talented. He boosted my own confidence soo much and made me realise that I do have a lot of potential to work in the modeling industry and I am very thankful to him for that.

I met Andy on a group shoot after I had trekked over to Yorkshire to have a look around a studio, and meet some new and old faces. Andy was instantly welcoming and friendly, and I got to have a look through some of his work. It's outstanding, I haven't seen a photo I couldnt click love on yet!

He was professional with all the models yet made the shoots seem fun, and the lighting and attention to detail was perfect

I have worked with Andy Wright on numerous occasions. Some informal, and some formal situations.

In all cases, Andy works with a knowledge of photography that is amazing! He knows exactly what to do in a shooting situation to make it just right - minimal fuss, minimal equipment - and things just look fab!

He taught me (and continues to teach me) a lot!

If you're a model, get booked in - pay him - you will get images that will remain favorites on your port for years.

If you're a photographer, get together with him - pay him - and get ready to learn! you will be able to get images for your port that will remain favourites for years!

Many hours have we sweated and ranted about what we wanted out of this shoot - Only for plans to change at the last minute. Nevertheless, look at the results! I was made to feel safe, warm and comfortable. &Doughnuts tea and coffee were to hand ^__^

Andy Wright was one of a handful of photographers who attended a recent collaboration event. In fact, he was there showing some of his work and giving a talk about photography, about models, and about professionalism for all involved in the photographic industry.

He is a well established photographer, with a recent book published, and is absolutely fantastic at what he does.

I have known him for quite a while now, and his knowledge of photographing models, whether new or established models, is second to none. He is a great guy to work with, full of valuable information.

I wouldn't hesitate to work alongside him again, and if he ever decides to go into the "teaching photography" business, then I will be there!
