Evening sun... except it wasn't. This was taken during a studio session in May this year. I was experimenting with lighting, and also wanted to see what photoshop would do to some of my images. This was shot on Kodak Portra 400 then post-processed into black and white. I think it's a nice look as Portra is such a smooth film with very little grain compared to some standard black & white films.
I also love the contrast between shadow and light, and the feeling that it's at the end of a very hot day.
