I've been lucky enough to get to work with Alistair regulary after meeting FINALLY him through the group shoots with Picture This Events in Cardiff. He is an absolute blast and great on both sides of the camera, creating great images but also digging in amd enjoying cteating his own character as a model! He's wonderful to work with and us also kind enough to be my regular taxi driver :) Looking forward to the next shoot! M :)

Face Of Chaos

What can I say about Alistair..... My husband & I first met Alistair at a group project we had recently set up with Stroke of Beauty mua - Caz Holland. He has now attended 3 of our events, 2 as photographer & 1 as a model himself.

Alistair knows what he is looking for with each idea and knows exactly how to achieve it. He but those around him at easy with his wicked sense of humor.

Alistair is more than happy to share his extensive knowledge with other photographers.

I look forward seeing Alistair at many more of our events.

I had a great shoot today modelling for one of Al's students whilst he was teaching a lighting workshop. Al was friendly, professional and highly knowledgable (I ended up learning one or two things about lighting myself!) He couldn't have been easier to work with and I'd highly recommend him...hope we can shoot together again soon!

Had a last min shoot with alistair and it was very pleasant! So pleased that he helped step in after I was let down by another photographer I was eager to go with my idea for a shoot I had in mind... I met Alistair quite early on in my foray into modelling and have seen him regularly at various events. He has always been very encouraging and his work is always positively striking to the eye.

I am always open to experimenting with different uses of light and special effects in the studio so when Alistair Barclay approached me with an idea he wanted to experiment with, I was happy to oblige.

I was happy to experiment with some martial arts and yoga inspired poses and as expected the results were certainly interesting and most striking. During the shoot Alistair captured a plethora of great images.

Highly skilled and experienced photographer as well as a true gentlemen. Look forward to working with him again soon :-)

Alistair was great at making me feel comfortable as i haven't shot in a couple months. He's very friendly and helpful, and even printed off some useful tips on posing following up our first encounter at a social. Time went so fast so we will be resuming a second shoot where we left off! cannot wait to see the final images. P.s love his little studio set up! its like a tardis!

Yesterday I had a wonderful shoot with Alistair at his studio in Bristol, he is a wonderful guy and is so so friendly. He made me feel comfortable from the beginning to end of our shoot.

An Eye for Beauty

I used Al's studio today for the first time with Helen Stephens as the model. It's a great little space and packed with good things. I really love the old advert feature wall, even the plain space between the words as it gave a rough and natural background. Also the light grey wall rather than a grey backdrop allowed for good and flattering lighting. Al is very friendly and there if you need him but non-intrusive. I will certainly be going back again next year.

It was great fun shooting with Alistair, he is very professional and he knows very well how to play with light. It was one of my first shoots with him as a new model and I really appreciated the tips he gave me and instructions on how to enhance my figure with a specific angle The pictures turned out to be amazing, I am really happy with them.

I highly recommend him and I hope one day we will have a second shot together. Thanks Alistair!!
