I attended a shoot at Al's Studio last Saturday. Al was very friendly, and made me feel at ease at the get go. Along with that, Al was also very attentive and you could tell he was very experienced as he knew what he was talking about as regards to poses! Very patient as well, which I believe is a very good quality, and he would not stop taking pictures of me until the shot was perfect! I would definitely recommend Al, a great hidden gem on Old Market. I look forward to receiving my pictures and working with him again.

Had my first shoot with Al last week and won't be my last! He made me feel really relaxed and was very patient and professional. As the project was a fairly new concept to me, he was able to give me tips when needed but also let me experiment a little myself as well.

Already planning another shoot together as the final image I chose was amazing. He's also a photoshop wizard!

I had my first photoshoot with Al Barclay yesterday at his studio & I also brung my toddler son Tyler with me too. Al was lovely! & has a nice studio, absolutely great for shoots. Al himself i though was a great male hostess making me & my son feel very welcome & also making me a nice brew half-way through the shoot! He was also great my son.

Defiantly recommend this guy! 5*

I was booked for a shoot in al's studio with another photographer. His studio is really nice with bathroom, kitchen and everything you need. al is a lighting guru, he helped with the coloured gel lights and knew how to fix any light problem that came up. He also took some great shots, that i look forward to seeing.

He was a lovely photographer to work with, and i wouldn't hesitate to recommend him, or his studio.

Had a brilliant Film Noir style shoot with Al on the weekend. He's easy to talk to and had everything organised as well as awesome ideas for the shoot! A brilliant person to work with and always makes sure you are comfortable! An amazing photographer and would highly recommend him to anyone. The images produced are high quality and I am extremely pleased to of had the opportunity to work with him!

It was a real pleasure working with Alistair. It was my first shoot after a very long break and I'm so greatful for helping me rediscover modelling. He was very well prepared and organised. Had a really nice day. Everything was running smoothly and we created some great images. His lovely wife was making sure that we had plenty of tea and buiscuits ;) Would definitely work with Alistair again!

Had a great shoot with Al. He turned up with a variety of equipment for everything I wanted. Good communication prior to the shoot and created a relaxed atmosphere on arrival. We created a range of images to suit the style we wanted. Easy going photographer and worked well as a mobile studio for the afternoon with no fuss :) will happily work with him again. He even knows quite a few staple modelling poses which helped me understand my look.

I'm looking forward to seeing the results.

Great shoot today with Al Barclay. He is a fantastic photographer, with lots of ideas and flexible approach. He is a lovely person, pleasure to work with, reliable and we got along really well. He made me feel at ease and relaxed throughout the shoot.His great team work skills just made the shoot fun and time just flew! Highly recommended!

Had a lovely flower power themed shoot with Al. He came fully equipped and was very professional during the shoot as well as good company. I would easily recommend him to anyone.

I had a great location shoot with al last week, he is very good at getting you to move around and likes to work hard to get the shot!

I recommend him to anyone who wants to have some fun outdoors pictures to add to their port, he is very professional and even travelled to my location choices with was great!!

Great guy will shoot with again hopefully!

Alistair was an absolute pleasure to work with, quietly confident and competent and knew exactly the best angles to shoot from. He was also able to give some direction when necessary . I would very happily recommend Al to anyone who wants someone who is a confidence giver and great with a camera. And lovely person to work with.
