References for Alimony

Today was my seventh occasion shooting with Alimony and just like every other time I found her absolutely fantastic to work with. Her pre-comms were first class as always as we exchanged ideas and she turned up ready to shoot with a whole range of wonderful outfits. Alimony has such a fun, down to earth and kind nature about her which makes working with her so easy and the time just flies by. She has a great creative mind and is always thinking of how to achieve the best images possible. A natural in front of the lens she poses effortlessly without direction, but is happy to take on any suggestions you have too. I've said it before and will again, she's a star and I'd very highly recommend her to any photographer or studio out there :)

I've now shot twice with Vee in the space of a couple of days.

Vee is a one-off. An effervescent bundle of creative energy, and an absolute joy to work with. I felt this was a true creative collaboration, with us both constantly bouncing mad ideas off one another.

I had been planning a short visit to Manchester, and messaged Vee to see if we could fit a shoot in at short notice. Her comms were amazing right from the outset, sending ideas, images, mood boards and making my job so easy.

On the night, she got to location before me, and we spent several hilarious hours around the city centre, with 6 different outfit changes, creating some amazing work, and confusing many passers-by.

Our second shoot came about a couple of days later because Matt from https://purpleport.com/portfolio/spectrumstudios/ spotted us in the street and very kindly offered us a free trial at the amazing Studio 2.

Vee is a dream to work with. She always looks amazing, puts so much thought and prep into every shoot, and is a lovely person to spend any time with. Recommended 100%

So after some fantastic communications from Alimony up front of our arranged shoot day where details of the themes I wanted to capture were embraced by this fantastic and creative model we actually got to meet face to face.

Alimony arrived at the studio nice and early which us allowed us some time to discuss further the order of the shoot and refine the choice of outfits.

Alimony had brought along so many options clothing wise that we could have shot for a few weeks without utilising all of them but this lady had every detail covered and some!

Where did 4 hours go, it just flew by in a whirlwind of creative banter and fun which resulted in some awesome back of camera images.

Alimony was really patient with my continuous lighting refinements and contributed some really beneficial thoughts herself too.

In summary a really great model and person who I would 100% recommend to any photographer.

Third shoot in recent succession, and on this occasion the weather wasn't playing ball, but she still offered to shoot (art nude on location). So very early morning, lots of standing, sitting * laying in roads, on benches, lamp posts, all wet, and we still managed to get some great shots due to her commitment and flexibility.

But with the weather and time against us (for location art nude) we went back to my studio for a'quick' few sets. Again she brings her thoughts and ideas, and happy to listen to mine to make it a truly collaborative shoot.

From leaving my house at 3:45am and getting home for 11:30am it was along session, but with the company and creativity Alimony brings, it flew by, and once again I look forward to our next shoot together.

The 2nd shoot of ours, was just as creative as our first. Just using natural light, and natural surroundings this time on our art nude outside quest.

Just watching and capturing Alimony flow from pose to pose is a real pleasure. Bendy, creative, adaptive and sometimes extremely uncomfortable poses to make a shot work. But when realising she's done a pose has been done before, she's changing, asking and creating new ones. I true creative that has been a real pleasure to have worked with, and with more shoots planned, I can't wait to see what we create & capture on future shoots together.

A really lovely lady with posing and creative instinct built in, who works with you not just for you. A truly team effort in the best kind of way, with the best kind of person.

I met Alimony for a coffee before we shot to make sure we were both happy to work with each other, which it was quite oblivious we would be from the start.

Fast forward to shoot day (very early morning shoot around city center) and after plenty of comms, ideas and suggestions, we got shooting. She was fabulous to work with, happy to free style and take direction when needed. Suggesting places and ideas as we worked.

When you get up at half 2, for your 1st first shoot with someone, you have your fingers crossed, that it will be ok, but this was awesome. Lots of great images taken, as well as a lovely lady to work with. Really looking forward to working with this awesome lady again in the not too distant future. (y) :-D

This was my sixth time shooting with Vee and just like every other time she was absolutely wonderful to work with. Her communication before the shoot was fantastic, as we shared ideas and themes, and she turned with a whole range of outfits ready to shoot. She has such a fun, relaxed and warm nature about her at all times, so the the time just flies when you are in her company. So at home in front of the camera, Vee needs no direction, but she always happy to take on suggestions you have and helps you create the best images possible. She's a superstar and I'd very highly recommend her to any photographer or studio out there :)

What a fabulous shoot with the fabulous Alimony at my Manchester studio. Covering a range of sets at a breakneck speed we covered a lot of ground in just a few hours. Alimony simply just doesn’t run out of energy. I’m just getting into the images now and from what I’ve seen they are fab.

Alimony is just a great communicator with crystal clear breakdown of how the shoot will progress. She lays everything out in detail so no surprises on the day. Also very importantly she is apromt communicator and doesent’ leave you hanging on for answers. She arrived early and was ready to shoot then worked solidly with no long breaks. Her ideas and enthusiasm are overwhelming with no shortage of agenda. Her mood is very positive and uplifting. She was respectful of me, the props and the studio so even though we shot 1 to 1 I have no doubts that Alimony will make a great team player too.

I hope that this will be the first shoot of many.

Yesterdays shoot with Alimony was my first shoot in a long while. I could not have chosen a better model, she was absolutely superb. A lovely, professional and modest model, with an engaging personality . You could not fail to get on with her. Nothing was too much trouble, she instinctively new what I wanted to achieve . I am over the moon with the results . If you have never worked with her then I suggest you get a move on and book her. Fantastic .

I had the absolute pleasure of spending a few hours shooting on a sunny day in a park with Vee yesterday. Such a lovely time with such a lovely person.

I have to say I haven't met such a positive and warm person with so much energy in a long time. We hit it off from the start and the shoot was just so relaxed and enjoyable. It was basically like going for a stroll with an old friend.

I was very excited to work with Vee as she is very creative and comes up with so many fun shooting ideas to try. She really worked hard and I was so impressed with her dedication to our shoot.

You really should book Vee for a shoot as she looks amazing, has some wonderful outfits and props, poses like a dream and will work her socks of for you. I will certainly be shooting with her lots more in the future and she is 100% a recommendation from me. A top model and more importantly a top person.

Wow where to begin?

Firstly lots of communication prior to the shoot and we had a video chat so Vee could see my house for ideas.

Vee turned up with a full suitcase of various lingerie and retro fashion outfits that worked wonderfully with my house.

Vee is a beautiful and very experienced model that needed minimal direction and we bounced ideas off each other that had great results.

I was getting cramp watching bending in strange shapes as she is very flexible due to her background in dance and Yoga.

Definitely shooting again and privileged to shoot and strongly recommend booking this fab model.

It was great to shoot with Almony. She has a superb toned look which I found great to work with to create a variety of looks.

She adapted throughout the day to the mix of styles I wanted to shoot which I found very versatile. I particularly liked the confidence to work with my directional lighting.

We worked on a few ideas, some on location and some indoors with a studio set up.

they were extremely fun to work with and easy to get along with, very outgoing.

we shot about 5/6 different ideas in the space of about 4 hours.

My first shoot with Vee at my home studio, who really knows what styles and looks that are suited to her as a model, working them well into our shoot.

Dee arrived on time and although lots of detailed pre comms made for good preparation, we still looked thru our mood boards and discussed each set as we worked.

Vee has a strong character and is very confident infant of the camera so it goes without saying I will happily recommend Vee as someone to book for shoots.
