Second shoot with Mizz Arley.

Why did I book her again? Well... Apart from her striking looks, toned figure, excellent skin, energy and athleticism, enthusiasm, reliability and that she's a pleasure to work with, I'm not sure why. Oh, hang on... There's also her versatility. Yesterday we did a variety of looks - we did posh, we did attitude, we did girly - and Mizz Arley rocked them all.

Thanks for another very productive and enjoyable shoot, ma'am. It really was a good 'un.

One Bright Spark

I had my first shoot with Alf today and it was an absolute pleasure to work with her and I very much hope to team up again on future projects.

Pre-coms were professional where we agreed the theme for our shoot, time and location.

Alf was already waiting for me at the location with a load of outfits and ready to go after a welcome chat and catch up. Alf was absolutely brilliant and offered her own poses but was also happy to be instructed and this worked and flowed really well between us. She did a few outfit changes to mix it up and looked stunning in all of them.

We managed to get a wide range of different style shots making full use of our location and experimenting with different poses and ideas I had which Alf was more than happy to do showing her flexibility and willingness to do what we needed to get the shot (as long as there weren't any spiders involved).

So a massive thank you to Alf for a fun and very productive shoot and for her enthusiasm, professionalism and flexibility in being open to try my shoot ideas (however crazy).

I highly recommend Alf and hope to have many more shoots with her in the future.

We set up in good comms a casual shoot, to walk around a convenient part of the city and shoot as we went, and watched the weather forecast oscillate between disappointing and dire. In the event we found use for windy open space, assorted shelter, and dark interiors with interesting props and coffee.

Good fun and effective in variable and suboptimal conditions.

Had a fantastic first shoot with Alf today!

Pre-shoot communications were great and she turned up on time with a plethora of outfit options (including her new gloss red Hella Heels 🔥). The focus for our shoot was on light projecting, but also threw in some gels there too. Spent a lot of time experimenting with lighting but we were chatting away throughout; having similar professional interests outside of photography/modelling, it seemed the photography was a distraction from our conversation at times.

Alf was really easy-going and easy to talk to throughout and the 3.5 hours flew by! We did some directed poses working from our joint moodboard and she also worked well with flow posing too.

Looking forward to working with Alf again in the future and would recommend working with her to any photographer if you get the chance!

I had the pleasure of working with Alf on an aerial silks shoot at Rawpics Studio. And what a pleasure it was.

But before anything else... As you can see from her pictures, Alf has natural beauty and a very toned figure. She looks a bit posh. :) As for the shoot, I'd seen that Alf enjoyed aerial silks - and she isn't 'arf good at it! I'd done only one silks shoot before so I needed Alf to take the initiative with poses etc. She did me proud. She gave me one good picture after another.

Hang on. I haven't finished yet... Alf's pre-shoot communications were excellent, she turned up on time, she has a shed-load of energy and enthusiasm, and worked her socks off (NOT literally!) throughout a three-hour shoot. And on top of all that she has a sparkling personality and a great sense of humour. So the shoot was not only very productive but was also hugely enjoyable.

Would I recommend Alf? Well... What do you think? :) Indeed, I'm already nagging her for another shoot.

Amazeballs

I saw an image of Alf I liked which led me visit her portfolio and I was pleasantly surprised she was within my achievable catchment area. I approached Alf about collaborating and I was pleased to get a positive response.

Pre-shoot communication was excellent. We had agreed a beach shoot as a plan A but as the day neared it was clear the weather wasn’t going to cooperate. Plan B needed an indoor location. I researched somewhere mutually convenient and Alf agreed.

I got to location ahead of time to make sure I could meet and greet. We’d kept each other posted on the day and Alf made it at arranged time despite sat nav trying to sabotage her.

Alf struck me as personable straight away, I gave her a quick tour of the site and then we set to work.

The location offered us a veritable smorgasbord of shoot options. So began a laid-back fun shoot.

We shot using a combination of natural and ambient light. Alf is a delight to photograph, naturally gifted but also responsive to suggestions.

We shot what I will call big hearted, stained glass door, pale blue triptych, spotlight by door, wooden door including hair flicks, yellow door, decayed outdoor and seated.

At this point a time check revealed our time was nearly up, it had flown due to fun had. I was guilty of chatting as much as shooting because Alf is affable company.

Alf was willing to shoot a little over our agreed time in order for us to get some sartorial variety (we’d shot Alf only in outfit she arrived in with some jewellery I brought thrown in to that point).

Alf grabbed a few items to change into and there followed some quickfire sets:

More this way, letter box, water tanks, rusted radiators, columns and bricks and finally kaleidoscopic.

We’d managed 15 different locations in around 3 hours shooting time, with a bunch of chat included!

We reviewed back of camera as we went and I am certain we got some fabulous images.

I thanked Alf for a dream first shoot and I hope we will continue to work together.

Had a recent shoot with Alf Arley at Sowton Studio Exeter.

Contacted her when she first joined PurplePort a few weeks ago, I thought she had potential, but maybe her portfolio did not do her justice. Having now met her and photographed her, I have formed the opinion Alf is very special, and Exeter is fortunate to have such a lovely model .

Whatever she lacks in experience she more than makes up for with sheer natural ability.

We had a lot of styles to shoot in a lmited time and Alf’s ability to execute quick costume changes made a world of difference to our rate of progress.

She has a sunny personality and comes highly recommended. Leo Cooper

Superb communication, turned up prepared with plenty of outfits for me to choose from .

Alf looked stunning in a blue dress which I had suggested as it’s a colour I like

Took a few shots outside to get us eased in .

Was then you realise what a fantastic figure this classy has .

Took ideas for poses , happy to take direction as suggested on her page

But very soon was doing very well on her own

Unfortunately the rain came , so went inside for some portrait , then onto some lingerie .

Wow , as she does pole stuff etc. super fit , fabulous figure , outstanding photos were easy to be had. Although a new model , am sure she will be a busy model

A genuine lovely lady , has the lot , personality, figure, class , fun, ,laid back .

Book Alf, enjoy your shoot , I will be booking again when she’s free , 3 hours went far too fast

It's a pleasure to be able provide the first PurplePort reference for Alf Arley :-)

Communications prior to arranging the shoot were excellent and on the day she arrived on time with a remarkable collection of clothes and shoes in line with those requested.

Although relatively new to modelling, after some initial guidance, which she readily accepted her posing was soon enthusiastically in full sway and we were achieving some great images because she has a beautiful look and presents herself well with make up and hair.

We shot a number of sets and she worked tirelessly throughout changing quickly and not wanting to take breaks or, resort to her phone for between shot selfies.

Shooting with Alf Arley was a delight in so many ways particularly for a beginner - she really has a great look, a lovely calm, engaging and bright personality, mature intelligent conversation flowed easily and this all made the shoot hugely enjoyable and successful.

I have no hesitation in giving a Highly Recommended and do hope we are able to arrange the follow-up ideas we discussed.
