I shot with Alan at the boardroom for the first time yesterday. I really enjoyed our shoot. Alan is a lovely, bubbly man. I had a great time and plenty of laughs. I hope to work with Alan again as I really love his work and he was very enjoyable to shoot with. I’m looking forward to seeing what we created together. I highly recommend shooting with Alan if you’re wanting a relaxed shoot with a great outcome. Thanks Alan 😌

Alan and I shot together for the first time at one of my studio days at The Boardroom Studio in Derby.

Alan was an absolutely fabulous photographer and also a lovely kind person to shoot with too!

We got a number of amazing images even in a short 2 hours, and I hope to work with Alan again soon :)

Love working with Alan.

We shot for a few times now and every experience has been top-notch, nevermind the mindblowing edits!

The last time we shot was yesterday, he attended a morning group shoot on the event we did with Tabitha Boydell at the Boardroom. Alan was such a little gem helping everyone shoot and hold the reflector for them. He also sent me a edit on the same day and it looks so stunning.

The man is clearly talented and just such a nice person.

Alan was my first booking of the day on my day shoot at The Boardroom today.

What a lovely bloke with a tonne of talent! I mean you can see it from his work but you really get to experience his approach to photography when you work with him - kind, relaxed and super talented!

I generally love portraiture and I feel what we got out of our 2 hours was just perfect.

Really hope to work with Alan again and 100% recommend him.

Had an amazing shoot with Alan at The Boardroom in Derby.

First time working with Alan and I must say he is an exceptionally talented photographer which is clearly evident in all of his work.

Great communication leading up to the shoot as we had discussed a good variety of styles we wanted to shoot on the day.

Alan knows exactly what he's doing and really goes out of his way to get the best shots possible and he is superb working with gels. The shoot was very enjoyable and relaxed too and Alan is just a lovely person all round. It was nice to chat throughout the day as well as getting some great shots and from what I've seen already there will be some fantastic images from this shoot.

Highly recommended. Alan is a true professional and I would love to work with him again in the near future.

He was super relaxed, friendly and pre comms were excellent as well. He thought carefully about each setup, ensuring that the settings were perfect and the lighting was spot on which contributed to his stunning results.

I love what he has posted already and can't wait to see more from the day.

Had an absolutely incredible first shoot with Alan!!

It was all very last minute but immediately relaxed into all the ideas and working with him was super easy, bouncing ideas was effortless.

When I saw the results I was astounded, the lighting patience and the attention to detail shone through in the image.

Alan attended my studio day on Saturday at the boardroom, it was our second time meeting, though the first time was at the creative meet where we only had a lil 5 minutes shoot time together, so it was our first time working together properly!

Alan is such a talented photographer, he’s amazing with direction, knowing what he wants to capture and then encapsulating that idea perfectly.

We worked with natural light and gels- which absolutely blew my mind! Alan is so full of knowledge and the images are of such high quality standard.

I’ve had a couple of photos back already and they are truly stunning, I would recommend Alan any time and hope to work with him again in the future!

I’m not even halfway home yet and already leaving Alan a reference! That’s because he’s top notch. He went above and beyond my expectations and I was already certain the images he took today would be amazing and they’re certainly that. This man knows his lighting!... AND is a post pro wizard which I very much like. Many should take note! Post production is so important and Alan understands this and uses it to great advantages to create stunning work. Alan and his lovely wife met me from the train and made sure I was well looked after throughout the entire day right upto boarding my late coach. Such a lovely gentleman to work with and I’m pleased we finally got the time to shoot together 🤗 well worth the travel down and I can’t wait to work with Alan again in the future. Highly recommend. Alan attended a workshop I did last weekend at Mick Paytons studio, Stefano Brunesci workshop.

Alan was great to work with, open to the ideas on the day, gt stuck in with the shooting style and was professional and easy to work with throughout the shoot.

Whoop whoop....another awesome day with Alan. After working with him last week i was delighted that he came and joined in on a verda Rose event at Map studios. Alan is such a lovely guy who knows his stuff when it comes to photography. He was very helpful on the day to other photographers offering them advise and even use of his lenses, a real team player and a joy to model for. I hope i will have more opportunities to work with Alan and i highly advise any model to if you get the chance :-) Thank you for joining us for the day and bring lots of fun along with you !

Well, i finally to got work with the lovely Alan on Sunday (even if the first attempt failed due to horrendous snow conditions and nearly the same this time round) But there was no stopping us. Alan trekked through the awful weather conditions to join us for an event at Mick Paytons studio and i'm so pleased he did. He is a pleasure to work alongside and model for. He is very respectful towards me and his peers that he was working with and helped make the day so much fun. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the studio and modelling for the event. Alan is a great guy who knows how to use his camera and has a clear passion in this industry and im so pleased came along. I very much look forward to our next shoots :-) Highly recommended by me !

Alan is a regular at Belper Studio, we always look forward to having him around. He's so easy to talk to and a brilliant photographer with lots of tips and tricks. Alan knows how to direct models well and make them feel at ease, you can see this in his images. We would highly recommend Alan, he's a great guy and would not let you down.
