photo I have restored of my uncle taken about 1940 unfortunately now passed on. He was a Dunkirk veteran one of the last off the beaches had to swim for boat as he was in the REME destroying equipment abandoned by retreating army, he was in fact reported missing in action at one stage. Also saw action in the dessert campaign and Italy (Monte Casino)
