References for Adam Carlton Photography

Adam came all the way to Cumbria to shoot me in my home, after a lengthy period of us following each other on social media. He couldn’t have been a better person to work with after a very long time away from shooting. Immediately his energy put me at peace, and we managed to create steadily wonderful shots over the course of four hours, within many breaks of talking. The ease in which he creates striking images is a bit alarming - straight out of camera without any time spent fiddling, the shots were nearly portfolio ready. He thrives shooting natural light but I hope we can work together again shooting more using flash. He was totally open to my ideas throughout, and had a very positive and supportive attitude the whole day. The shoot went by very quickly for me. I recommend him to all models.

Adam came all the way down from Newcastle to shoot with me on a 1:1 lighting and effects tutorial with Everly Rose and Rose Magdalene Child!

As you can see from his port, Adam is no stranger to studio work and picked up the techniques that we covered with ease, including the long exposure blur trails with flash, which can be a bit of a steep learning curve! He also decided to handicap himself that day by using a brand-new camera he'd never used before :P Not worry though as he and his new camera were best buds by the end of the session.

Adam is very easy-going, with a great sense of humour and he fitted right in on set, giving useful direction and feedback to the models. He got stuck in from the start and was very considerate of everyone on-set.

I really enjoyed working with Adam and have no hesitation in recommending him!

This was mine and Adam's first shoot and oh my, in 4 hours we took over 850 photos!

So amazing, so much choice, gonna have edits for daysssss hahaha

Adam gives great direction and had lots of his own ideas but was also happy to hear mine and go with the flowwww

Adam joined me on my Marilyn Monroe inspired remote shoot, it was his first remote shoot and he did amazing! We had a lot of fun. Adam is a delight to work with, so patient and easy to communicate with.

The precomms were great, the shoot was great, could shoot all day with Ads, the time flew by!

Thanks for an awesome shoot Adam, looking forward to when we can finally shoot in person. Your photography is so stunning I know the images will be spectacular

I worked with Adam during my shoot tour in Newcastle over the past couple days. I have worked with Adam previously & so straight away I was relaxed & at ease to shoot. Adam is such a lovely person, as well as a great photographer! He is good with lighting and knows exactly what will make a great shot! The time flew by as we created some beautiful art & chatted about life. Adam showed me some images at the end of the shoot & the blew me away. To the point where I felt emotional. You must work with Adam if you get the chance!

Well, Adam is one of the loveliest people I know! I am so pleased that Adam attended a group shoot I was modelling on at Loud and Flashy studio and we very quickly became good friends!! Adam has so many wonderful ideas and is happy to go with whatever bizarre ones I throw at him!

Adam puts a lot of effort into getting the shots he wants! He has a great eye for a great shot and I just love the ones he has published from this shoot :D

Adam is so down to earth, very thoughtful and genuine! AND HE GIVES THE BEST HUGS EVER!!! :D

Of course i reccomend him!! I would shoot with Adam every week if I could :D

I got to shoot with this epic photographer over the weekend, he has an innate ability to put you at ease and the giggles were just flowing with his wonderful sense of humour - Adam has a beautifully effortless way with shooting, showing the incredible results on the back of the camera!

I cannot recommend this fabulous individual enough to all models and studios in this community, what a joy to work with and I hope to shoot with him again before I pack it all in :)

I worked with Adam at Loud & Flashy studio in Ashington yesterday & had a lovely afternoon!

Pre comms were polite & professional! He has a great sense of humour & pays attention to the small details that in fact make a huge difference to an image or finished product

We created some fab images which I had a glimpse of at the end once we had finished. The time flew by & I thoroughly enjoyed the shoot!

I shot with Adam at Loud & Flashy Studio on a group event recently. He was a real pleasure to work with, very friendly, kind, respectful and professional.

The shoot was a huge success and everyone seemed to go home happy! Adam got some stunning images of me and I put that down to great creative energy, good communication and rapport with me and knowing what he is doing behind the camera :)
