Tryst

After first getting in touch about a year ago Stephen and I had our first shoot this week at my home. I hope it will be one of many, however he does live quite the distance away! Due to the long drive, I offered him an overnight stay the night before our shoot.

He was an exceptional guest, very polite and respectful, and had much interesting conversation to share.

The day of the shoot went by way too fast for me. I sensed he would be a wonderful artist to watch create and he was - complete confidence with the camera, no fiddling, and always tuned into getting the right angle and lighting for each specific shot. I do mean it when I say it went too fast - I offered an extension at the end free of charge, because I was enjoying myself so much!

I think where he shines is in creative direction. His ideas to shoot eclectic editorial looks were masterful and flowed spontaneously.

I’ll be alerting him whenever I head closer to his region and am looking forward to all the results from our first shoot.

I worked with Steven again at my studio "Heavenly Bodies Studio" recently and it was so lovely to catch up again after 2 years!! :)

Steven is such an incredibly respectful and kind person to work with, with a genuine passion in photography.

He arrived with a variety of material to use, creativity and and ton of enthusiasm! We shot a mixture of fashion to art nude photography using the overhead lighting and strip boxes and the resulting images were absolutely beautiful! Steven gave great direction and its been a pleasure to see his photography work blossom over the years!

Steven was very kind to show the results of the images during and after the shoot and it was a pleasure to be able to look through these and give feedback.

I can completely recommended Steven to other models and creatives; professional, respectful and safe to work with. Thank you so much Steven and I really hope we get the chance to work together again soon! Helen x

He's a lovely person to talk to and very genuine and professional. His pre-coms were great, and straight from the beginning of organising our shoot, he came with strong ideas and mood boards that were full of fab ideas for us to bounce off.

The shoot itself was enjoyable and we got a great range of images on location. I'd happily recommend working with Steven.

Im happy to be the second person to recommand steve :) he came to shoot me at the photographers place i was staying at, he had some cool reference picture and was well organised about different ideas he had and what he wanted, he was respectful and kind, he was open to my ideas and i think we got quickly many great images, our shoot just went by flying, he was professional and nice to create with :) we got some really cool images with sheers he brought and with natural light and artificial, i would easily recommand him to anyone :) thank you again for the shoot and hope to see you around!

Despite the incredibly late reference (my bad, sorry Steven) my shoot with Steven was wonderful and I would absolutely recommend working with him.

Steven had booked a beautiful venue for us to work together at, with loads of scope for shooting both inside and out. That combined with a vast array of creative ideas from Steven led to a fun and productive afternoon with some beautiful images at the end of it too.

Steven is a photographer whose passion and enjoyment for the medium really shines through whilst working with him and I really hope that our paths will cross again in the future.

Steven is fairly new to Purpleport and its my pleasure to leave him his first ever reference here for our community! :)

I worked with Steven for the first time recently at my home and home studio "The Den" and had such a lovely shoot! I admit that I was a little nervous as Steve didn't have any references here and was fairly new working with models - but regardless of this Steve was so incredibly kind, respectful and professional at all times. He has such a unique, quirky character, very creative and was great company. He was respectful of the studio and our home and is welcome back anytime! He was also very kind to share the images from the shoot and asked for feedback. A very genuine photographer who I am happy to recommend to other models and creatives.
