Amber is Phenomenal. She is a rare creature. I'd like to tell and underline how she is creative, committed and beautiful.

It's your fault if you don't get good pictures. With her it's just insane easy to get great images.

As human being she is just perfect. You would like to shoot more once you realize she is the most easy, relaxed and fun to work with.

It's a shame she's living up north.

I continue to count myself lucky enough that not only do I consider Amber an exceptional model but also a kind and wonderful friend.

Amber doesn't shoot much and won't mind me saying that she often suffers from bouts of low confidence, we all do I know. Never have a i met someone who's lack of confidence was so unfounded. Her portfolio speaks volumes for what an amazingly accomplished model she is.

There is strength and depth in what she does and I'm continually amazed at the work she produces. Amber has the ability to show emotion, her acting background is a huge bonus here, she is able to create a character which she slips easily in and out of. It's a joy to watch her model.

The shoot itself was wonderful, we managed a host of stills and some video which will be a joy to edit. She is beautiful in images and just as beautiful in person.

She is talented and has a wonderful sensitivity that she brings to the shoot, I can't thank her enough for shooting with me on one of her trips to London.

Amazing model and heartily recommended to anyone who is looking for an awesome and versatile model.

This shoot has been in the diary since before the school holidays and I've been looking forward to it since then.

Amber does NOT disappoint.

She communicated very well in the run up to our shoot. During the shoot, she understood my concept virtually immediately and helped me get what I had in mind within the first half hour. The rest of our time booked was a great mix of chatting about imagemaking and shooting.

Amber is an excellent model, you know what to do!

I already knew Alice was a great model after modelling myself with her as Horace Silver. I had the chance to have her in front of my camera this time and in less than one hour of time we achieved thanks to her huge talent and sensitivity some great work in a cool location in Brussels. I had no particular plan in my head but she immediately knew what to do and she needed almost no direction at all, I just had to choose the angles and places where the light was good enough, and then click again and again. She's really a great professional that will guarantee you excellent pictures. Truly recommended!

So two years after our first shoot (where does the time go?) Amber got in touch and we threw a plan together for round two!

I've been going to Dartmoor since I was a kid but never really spent any time shooting there so was really happy when Amber agreed a weekend down there shooting on the moors.

The weather was hoffic most the time, but two 4am starts in a row managed to give us a few hours of shooting time and we really made the most of it.

Amber is great company and really easy to shoot with, creative, energetic and fun.

We got some great images we are both really happy with and I'm 200% sure we'll be shooting again.... hopefully next time without the monsoon!

I am confused beyond belief, I don't think I have met a more unusual, hilarious, kind and beautiful soul in my life. She occupies a different part of thespace/time/reality as the rest of us do, and its a place that most of us will never get to visit.

Alice came to see me on her long journey back from a shoot way down south to her home in Scotland (I think that's a lie though actually, I think probably turns left just past half past two and goes into hyperspace to a different planet someplace, she is definitely not of this earth)

It wasn't even supposed to be a shooting visit, just a place to crash for a night, a takeaway and a bottle and to finally say hello to someone who I have admired as a model for ages, but it got to 11pm ish and all of a sudden she decided the tiles on the floor looked like an attractive place to shoot and that was that....

There may only be a few images, it may not even count as a 'proper' shoot, I don't know....i'm still reeling from the little piece of awesomeness that was here one minute and gone the next. I am actually sad she has gone, and I hope she comes back one day, to shoot, to eat Chinese or even just to listen to her hilarious stories! :)

I know shes not maybe going to be shooting as much as she did, and I count myself as extremely fortunate to have even just had that little random time of shooting, but I still had to leave a little reference because genuinely she is somebody rather special indeed.

Every once in a while you meet a model who exceeds every expectation that you had of working with them, who takes every concept and idea that you present to them and knocks them out of the ballpark, and who gives 100% to every single shot. Amber is one of those models.

Not only is Amber a superb model, but she's also a thoroughly lovely, decent, intelligent and engaging person. Shooting with Amber today was an experience that left me feeling incredibly positive, we shot for much more than our originally planned timeframe, and absolutely nothing phased her. Amber's posing style is spot on, her choice of outfits matched every idea and concept, and she required so little direction that at times I barely had to say anything! She takes ideas and runs with them, she puts forward ideas that fit the theme perfectly, and she has a willingness to take even the strangest concept and turn it into pure performance.

I would fully recommend Amber to everyone, and I hope that our paths will cross again soon. A superb shoot, with a superb model!

I did a few shoots with Amber quite a while back, luckily she came back and we did another one :)

Wow, she's even better than before, maximum funky madness ensued and we did a load of cool stuff.

Total joy to work with, and an awesome model.

Had a great wee duo shoot with Amber and Gabiya, and it was a pleasure working with them both. Amber is easy going, fun and professional at the same time, knows how to pose and whenever I needed something really specific, she followed instructions with ease. We've got several sets of images to work with and I believe the effort she put into this collaboration will show up in the photos we chose for editing. Amber is such an intelligent, transparent and positive person, she has unconventional personality in its' best meaning.

We just had a nice duo shoot, which is to promote our event (follow our castings). I am amazed how well she knows what poses work well, how fast we became comfortable posing together. Moreover, since it was TF, it was great that we both liked mostly same pictures.

Looking forward to work with you again and again.

I suspect that when the PurplePort aficionados and others of our own times come to be sketched out, Amber Castle will occupy a position analogous to Jean Shrimpton and Pamela Green... Amber has an aspect for life unbeknown by many others desiring to follow like her, a spontaneous route to creativity through modelling. She models with sincerity, generosity, and great skill and is the better for it, a sort of reliance upon serendipity which I admire. She has an emphasis and affinity for 'bliss', both the ecstatic joys of it and its capacity to turn a mind towards its unsuspecting enchantment. The vision of the world through her eyes would be a pleasant revelation; a land of gentleness and laughter. This is evident by her out-going friendly nature, which is a delight to witness, it is her personal triumph. Many, many thanks Amber I've been bewitched.

I saw Amber's Portfolio some months ago and thought I just had to shoot with her. We tried to arrange something - the poor girl accepted my request for a shoot - but what with one thing and another, it didn't happen until yesterday when she came down to beautiful Birmingham and we had a full day shooting at my place.

The moment she arrived, I was swept away by her delightful personality and when we started shooting I realised she was better than my highest expectations.

Amber is artistic and creative and models with her mind and all her body. It was an exciting delight for the whole of the shoot.

This all sounds po-faced serious, but she did some silly, fun dotty stuff as well. I have been using cigarettes and cigars as props on shoots - we did some of this as well - but my new thing is Teddy bears, and we had Amber's teddy, a girl, take over in several sets to leave us both falling on the floor with laughter.

Conversation was effortless and she has an artistic mind that wants to find outlets for her creativity. We talked all day and I could have gone on and on.

I have a mass of images to edit but I look forward to this.

We already have ideas that we both want for another shoot and it is just a case of trying to work out the logistics of a venue to suite the ideas.

I can recommend Amber without qualification or hesitation to all photographers and just wish she was nearer so that we could shoot more easily and frequently.

I look forward to our next shoot with eager anticipation.

This was one of those shoots that had been in the planning stages for nigh on two and a bit years!

I should have known how crazy Amber was when she was willing to wait that long for me!

I guess distance wise we are pretty far apart so when Amber let me know she was coming to London with the express intention of shooting with me I was in turns, flattered, flabbergasted and nervous that I'd live up to her expectations!

There were some issues with the place that Amber had booked but she was incredibly professional about the whole thing and booked another superb location.

Pre comms were amazing, we'd been chatting for so long about the shoot that when we met it felt like meeting an old friend.

Shoot wise I can't fault Ambers dedication to her art and I like to think of it as an art, she truly thinks deeply about every shot and we definitely clicked with her way of modelling and my way of shooting.

Really I could go on for pages, Amber is an utterly wonderful model, an amazing person, awesome fun to be around and good company to pop to Tesco's with!

Recommended 100% - if she wasn't so far I'd work with her every week - fab! Thank you!

Had a fantastic accidental shoot with Amber today, what can I say that hasn't already been said. Every pose flowed naturally, she heard the shutter and flowed into the next position knowing what would look perfect.

I really can't sing Amber's praises enough, a true artist, lovely, crazy, beautiful, in equal measure.

What can you say about Amber, I'm still reeling from when she floated in in the most spectacular red dress..Did I book a film star? I wondered!

I've waited a fair amount of time to shoot with Amber, and I'd wait another ten years to photograph her again, She'd still be beautiful.

Professional to the up most, quirky, funny, and adorable..The whole shooting experience was blissful.

I didn't have to direct, She just fell into gorgeous feminine poses with such grace and style..Her dedication to create art is just astounding, and her knowledge about light,angles and photography helped me out no end!

In one word,a triumph

I really, really wish Amber didn't live all the way up there in The Land o'Cakes. She is so bl**dy brilliant to work with, and if only she lived closer I'd be able to nag her for more shoots.

But I did manage to coax her back to sunny Somerset again - and it was well worth waiting for. Lots and lots of good things have already been said about her, but what the heck. I'll say them again anyway. Amber is a one-off. She has a shed-load of imagination and creativity: she's full of really good, original ideas, and because of her theatrical capabilities she doesn't just pose - she performs. (You could sell tickets to watch her work.) She has a Tardis-like suitcase of well-considered clothing and accessories, and with her great eye for styling and her versatility it's like having ten different Ambers to play with during the course of a shoot. Seriously - I can't remember the last time I got so much variety during the course of a day's shooting.

Anything else? Well - there's also her energy and enthusiasm and her sparkling personality and great sense of humour. So a day's shooting with Amber isn't just very productive - it's also hugely enjoyable.

Yes - she's brilliant to work with and she's great fun. The only criticism I can make is that she chooses to live all the way up there in Scotland. That's mean of her. It deprives a lot of Sassenachs of the chance to work with her. Boo! Hiss! :)

I had the great privilege yesterday of photographing Amber on a one off visit to Yorkshire. It was a unique experience and would that I could capture it in words. I was – as the saying has it – totally blown away by her lovely warm personality, her elegance, charm and grace, her great sense of fun and adventure, the beauty of her body and most of all by her free spirit. It was an utterly unforgettable shoot.

Obviously her professionalism was beyond dispute – superb communications, punctuality and diligence. She was so keen, as was I, to create beautiful works of art – in the context of art-nude - and the images she produced were gloriously breath-taking. I say she produced because her free spirit just poured out poses – if I made an attempt to direct, I could not match her fabulous sensitivity of rhythm and output.

Amber if there is any way I could photograph you again, I would but you live 195 miles away, and I am at a loss.

Had a really fun shoot with Amber this morning at Lunan Bay. Despite me turning up late due to car problems, Amber was not just friendly, but fun, creative, and willing to suffer the cold and try my silly ideas without hesitation.

She was everything I hope for in a model and more. Obviously beautiful, great conversation, and up for giving anything a go. On the first quick glance, I think there are some fantastic pics from the shoot, and I'm raring to get stuck into the edits. A1, 5 star, smiley face. Hopefully I will get to work with her again.

My second shoot with Amber was just as much a delight as the first. She turned up with a wide range of outfits as before, and threw herself into a challenging environment with humour and enthusiasm. No request was considered too nutty, and she was equally creative, perhaps more so, with her own ideas.

I particularly enjoy working with a model who is willing to put her own stamp on things, but Amber is also excellent and taking direction. A real joy to work with. Efficient. Creative. Professional.
