MY SATISFACTION AND SANGUINE LIFE

I'm a recalcitrant guy. A defiant, stubborn and rebellious individual, but one that loves making photographs. I've an irreverent eye and a penchant for using available light, some say my photographs are absorbing and generous, others say I deceit spectators with a delicate and refined play of the imagination. 

Doing photographic things purposefully is rewarding. Tenacity runs alongside creativity in my photographic world. As things go, photographic snaps abound in their thousands today, probably more taken on smart phones than digital cameras. We see them every day and very few are remembered. But there is more to photography. It is not the CAMERA that takes the photo....it is the EYE. It is not the camera that FINDS the photo....it is the SOUL. My photography has to be different, provide a source of pleasure, and is either very theatrical or a relaxed photo-documentary style. A keen sharp-eyed approach gives sensual and evocative images a story and might suggest irreverent handling of a subject, but considering the lasting effect of the photographs it's fair to say that my results are always formed from a love of life. I often say to people, "Did anyone ever have a boring dream?"

My gallery contains photographs that have accounted highly for recognition somewhere in the wild, tremendous world of professional imagery. I hold dear all acknowledgements and each bring encouragement. Every delve I make into the magical realm of photography may not appear here on PP, I do not approach quantity as a necessity preferring a ‘less is more’ strategy is more useful. You can be assured that my precise selection has left a significant mark in some way for its commissioner. That's endorsement enough. I constantly challenge photographic convention, breaking rules; aren’t rules meant to be broken? And whoever were the rule-maker’s must have not a clue about creating single images. Tomorrow is another day.
