Busy commercial vehicle workshop owner / manager

Just started as the IT department and project support office for a smallish construction company. Currently getting up to speed on projects in 3 countries and 4 time zones and Australian health and safety legislation.

What's happened that we not only need to send the missus out to work but that we have more than one job on the go? Are we not making enough money or maybe subject to jobs becoming redundant?

As well as sometimes needing financial help from the government?
