2025 tour plans/ideas - I need your help please!

Well If you plan on Ireland spring/summer let me know ? Would love to do some indoor and outdoor with you . I can supply a lovely apartment or airbnb for indoor and a whole national park to shoot outdoor . Im a 3hr train ride from Dublin if you are planning ... just to let you know ! LottiiRose hi Lotti, thank you that's very kind of you. I am just trying to organise myself early this year and have a structured plan, as my usual modus operandi is planning spontaneous trips pretty much last minute! Which also works, but I want to try the slow and steady approach 😊

Its so relaxing to have it planned out! Ive already planned my studio days until about August time! And theyre all selling already. Its crazy! 

People take advantage of it as they see your plans and see thats the only time you're visiting therefore jump on it. When you could be visiting anytime theyll think 'ill jump on the next one in a few months probably' and dont book. 

I try to book a mini tour around the studio days so it makes the travel more worth it. And some photographers dont like Studios or want to be on location in the summer etc. 

Its hard work, but lots of fun, i think! haha! 

I've always done well touring around Scotland but I realise it's harder if you don't drive.

You could do glasgow or edinburgh then rail up to Aberdeen as quite a few good photographers up there, rail over to Inverness then fly home?

Also when I was holidaying in Costa blanca last year I got 3 shoots just on the off chance on here as many retired ex pats living over there and they all picked me up and drove me to shoot locations

I also recommend south Wales I usually base in Cardiff or Swansea lots of photographers that way if you base in Cardiff it's really easy to get to Bristol on public transport so you have 2 cities in easy reach xxx message me if you want to ask any questions

I love Scotland! So much so, that I toured twice last year as it was easier for me to hit Glasgow area first and then Edinburgh area later in the summer. I will definitely come again next year, just trying to get some sort of order to trips. 

I just did Bath/Bournemouth few weeks ago, which was great, so i'll definitely do that area again and Cardiff with plenty of notice. I tried to do Cardiff spontaneously last minute and that didn't work, hence this year I am forcing myself to plan in advance. I definitely enjoy the freedom that comes with the 'last minute spontaneous' approach, it's in my nature, but need to be more practical about it.
