Hey hey!
The time has come for me to say goodbye to one of my favourite props, a standing vintage lamp. It's large and I don't know what to do with it.. I have a friend in Stafford who is collecting quirky bits to upcycle for her new place but I just can't get it to her as I don't drive and er, it's a bit big for the train!
My house is undergoing major renovations at the end of this month and if I can't find a new home for it, it will have to go into a skip, which I'd be super sad about because I HATE throwing perfectly good props away.
I say prop because it's not perfect - the light has a working bulb, and is safe - but a couple of the tassels round the lampshade are less than perfect and it could do with the lampshade being covered (because I also used it outdoors in the summer and it got a bit.. well, worn) - something I was planning on doing, but didn't get round to!
So basically, needs love & a new home. I can't transport it anywhere, but if you want it and can pick it up from my place in Angmering, West Sussex (UK) any time between now and March 26th, it's yours! Just ping me a message.
I picked this up free from a lady clearing out her house a couple of years ago - she was so lovely and she loved that I used it to design photographic sets. She'd love to know it's being re-used again..
Here are some self-portraits featuring the lamp.. (you can even strap a flash inside for a stronger light) and then some test shots but which show the whole thing..
