I'm a bit late to the party, but congratulations Natasha on your 100th remote shoot.

Having seen the results from some of your previous work, I took the plunge in June and booked a shoot with yourself and enjoyed the experience tremendously. You worked extremely hard on the day, moving furniture, lights camera angles, etc. I felt so guilty doing nothing but sitting on my backside watching. You certainly taught this old dog a few new tricks and the images produced are without doubt comparable to any face-to-face shoot.

Well done on such an achievement. I'm sure that it won't be long until you've notched up another 100.

Sorry just say this. Great to have been part of your 100 remote shoots. In part it was you jumping in on remote shoots at the very start that got me interested to see what could be done. I'm glad I've been doing remote shoots over the last nine months. I think it's helped my photography too as the limitations just make you get more creative and I think that will move over to my in person photography when I'm back to doing those.

Continued success with the remote shoots and to the next 100. Plus thanks for the plug for the remote book :) Great to have featured you in it.

What a triumph and inspiration! This has to be one of the most positive success stories on PP in 2020. You’ve done exceptionally well with the remote shooting and deserve the recognition you’re getting for setting it all up and producing such fab images! :)

Remote shoots don't work for everyone (especially those like me who like the great outdoors and are inspired by the conditions we are faced with at the time), but I've enjoyed what people have been able to produce in difficult conditions and applaud their creativity. For those used to creating images in studio-like conditions, it seems the perfect answer in imperfect conditions to me. Congratulations on achieving so many successful shoots.

That's so true Richard, there are many valid reasons why remote shooting isn't for everyone, as you say, you prefer the great outdoors.  

It's a shame when people make statements about the remote shooting process without having experienced it, which simply aren't true, many assume there's a lack of interaction and rapport when actually it's been so fulfilling getting to know people and making friends, and just like in-person shoots, some people you get along with more than others, some shoots are more successful than others, some more productive or chatty or funny and even on occasion you have a shoot that's quiet and serious.  That's life.

Behind the scenes...

I had the wind machine blowing at me for a while trying to get some movement in the fabric.  We got some shots then the backdrop started to fall towards me.  Much to our amusement :D the photographer (JPea) got the shot! Haha

Having shot with you to round off my year I can see why you have had 100 remote shoots.

Apart from being a brilliant model, you are well organised and so able to ensure a shoot that photographers get really good images.

Thanks for the shoot and here's to your next 100....the only thing that will stop you is a return to normal shooting.
