Ken... my tuppence worth... this is the impossible question because there's nothing to say why you want to create images here. What is it you are trying to achieve? What inspires you these days? I have always admired your work; you were my biggest mentor when I was starting.
I love that you want to move to something new... So why these retain these 15 images? Some are spectacular, some leave me a little cold. All are interesting in some way. But the interest varies in each shot. Some have that KenP painterly effect I was never able to emulate. Some showcase how inventive and sardonic your perception of the world is. Others demonstrate how good you are at directing and coaxing an emotion or expression out of a model.
Chiaroscuro is my favorite by far. Although I would like it even more if there was a bit more sex in it. But that's my shallow taste :) But given the mystery of your motivation, let me ask for what i'd love to view: the application of your use of colour and edit approach to a Norman Parkinson infused style with a hint of Guy Bourdin sensuality.
Weakness? let the easy targets (both verbal and photographic) be. You are better than that.
