I was looking through the searches and found a filter based upon number of FPI's.
A few photographers and models have over 250
Does anyone know if you can see who had the most this year?

I did a scrape of all the FPIs and every now and then I update it. Unfortunately this only says whose portfolio they are appear on not, who's tagged. So there are photographers with many pictures on models ports who aren't counted and vice versa. If the port or the picture was deleted before I scraped the data it won't show up, so I don't have every FPI ever and now the page only allows you to get back a certain distance.
I swapped private messages with a photographer in the top few, a nice, modest and self effacing chap, and he was quite embarrassed by the number, and didn't want be outed. I assume there are other who feel the same. I would guess that's the reason why the site doesn't provide the numbers.
What I will tell you is when I last did the numbers there were only 4 ports with over 400 and 24 over 200, 90 people had over 100. I must update my numbers... I did them in the first instance to try to find bias in the system and what I found was the split between, 1-off / new recipients, occasional recipients / and regular recipients was about what I'd expect and unsurprisingly it's a pareto distribution
I am continually surprised by the stuff I learn here on PP.
Pareto distribution.
Never heard of it before.
Fascinating!

Strictly, I think it is a Zipf Curve, a Zeta distribution, that being similar in shape and what it describes, but applying to ranking rather than a continuous distribution.
IE there is nobody who has 3.7 FPIs but substantial numbers with 3 and with 4
I am not a mathematician (IANAM) but find lots of things are Zipfish/Zipfy/like that.
Both are covered on one page in Wikipedia, which goes from the easy to understand to the impenetrable and back, AFAICS.

It's the thing often called the 80:20 rule, but it's more involved than that. Basically the bigger the number of FPIs the smaller the number of people who have them.
And in PPs case 34% of Awardees have just 1. 19% have 2. 10% have 3. - By the time you get to 7 rosettes, that's 80% of people but only 21% of the awards. (So 20% of the people get 79% of the FPIs). What we'd expect on pp goes like this
Some people upload nothing. Of the uploaders, 80% of pictures come from 20% of the active people.
Some people's uploads include nothing worth considering for the front page. Of those who upload at least 1 candidate, 20% of them will upload 80% of the candidates.
and of the people who actually get a rosette 80% of awards go to 20% of the people.
I reran the stats so I have a spreadsheet with 69715 FPIs awarded to 8898 different people. I reckon I'm missing about 30-40,000 of that were deleted before I started collecting.
The oldest FPI was the 55th upload to the site and newest was number 8,549,527,
The 400 club has now 6 members , the 200 club is in the 30's, and just over 100 people have over 100.
22 people have got 40 or more in the last 9000 I can see (roughly 1 year), the most frequently awarded gets an average of an FPI every 4 days.
15 of those 22 had 100 or more FPIs before the start of the year, only had only 4.

I’m not in the running for the most FPI’s, but I’m quite pleased to be in the ‘100 club’ :)
B.
Lulu Lockhart has a very well deserved 685 pies, a very small number of which I share with her. I imagine Lulu is in the top few on PP.
I'm happy to be in the '>1 ♥ club', which, I'd hazard a guess, next to the '<1 club', is probably the biggest.

As I've said before I think you need to divide the number of FPIs by the number of years membership to get a useful "run rate" statistic? Otherwise the number isn't truly representative?
