hello! my name is nicole! 22year old model based in York. Fearless. Blonde. Gravity defying breasts.

I genuinely came here to introduce myself and talk about photo editing, but I have become distracted and now just want to find out more about Nicole's gravity defying breasts. Are they a super power? Are they a cybernetic implant? Would they look as good on me if I could get hold of a pair? Do they enable you to fly Nicole? Do you actually have to weight them down to stop them floating off?

Now for a serious introduction. I am Ed and I am unable not to go crazy with Photoshop. I use a combination of Lightroom, Photoshop and Alien Skin. Sometimes I start working on a normal portrait and before I know it I've turned the model into a lizard to see if it would be cool. I am desperately trying to become a competent retoucher of normal photographs as well though.

Hello, my name is Mike. 40something photographer, based in Tunbridge Wells. Anxious. Blonde. Mercifully flat as a board.

Also very much a non-expert with a liking for exploring classic mono and colour looks in DxO Optics Pro and Affinity Photo.

Hi, I’m Shaun from Wigan.

I’m an amateur photographer and like to edit images as much as I like to take them. I use PS CC & Niks etc.

Always looking to learn something new or better.

Hi, I'm Andy,

I'm an amateur that wishes I had more time to spend at it.  I use LightRoom Classic CC and Photoshop CC. Though I'm only really just starting to get involved with retouching.

Hi, I'm Becky.

I use Lightroom and Photoshop CS6 with Niksoftware plugins.

I also use a bunch of fun apps on my phone to create artwork out of silly selfies.

I spend most of my Purpleport time over on my model account rebeccatun.

Hi,

I am Ben from Belgium. Been doing photography for a good 8 years now. Before it was more of the occasional vacation pictures.

I mainly use Lightroom CC and occasionally Photoshop CC (as I have a lot to learn to use its full potential).

Nice initiative

Cheers,
Ben

Hi, I'm David. Joined PP a few months ago, but been around photography for some time both pro and hobbyist.

I'm probably going to be an odd one out here as I use, or rather am learning to use, Affinity Photo. It will be a steep learning curve with a multitude of  'unsaved image' closing......and then try again!!

Hi

I have been a photographer for many years and also a trained graphic designer having to use a load of software. I love retouching, I do not see anything wrong with enhancing a picture. If we are accused of distorting the original it is all a matter or perception. Anyway just got back from Photography Show Birmingham NEC. Awesome and Inspiring.

Hi, I began photography in the film days, I enjoyed sketching and art as well. I became interested in computers early in the days of 8bit.

When digital cameras and graphics software came along I took to it like a duck to water, I started out using a 1.3mp camera and Corel.

Presently I use Canon gear and Adobe Creative Cloud suite. I love the whole gamut of abilities the digital media is capable of, from basic retouching to fantasy photo manipulations.

I believe that an image straight out of camera can always be improved upon, which can sometimes be a source of conflict with “purists”

I consider myself very familiar with PS & LR but still not expert there is always more to learn. I am quite jealous of 3d CGI artists, I see some images that just make me gasp.

Hello,

This is Brett. I live just outside Los Angeles. Been working in PS since before there were layers, over 20 years! It's my favorite program. If anyone has any questions, let me know. Some really awesome work on here. Lastly, my philosophy is the best editing is when you can't tell there was editing!

Andrew, from Saltash in Cornwall. Photographer for 15 years, first 8 spent predominantly shooting weddings and family lifestyle (don’t hold it against me).

Fascinated by post production and retouching. Using PS CC, never tried LR and rarely use plug-ins.

Quite happy spending 4-7 hours on an edit (not in one go obs).

I like to learn one new technique if I can each week.
