Wales v S Africa

I can't claim originality unfortunately.

It would take quite something to live up to the NZ game! Finals are often a bit dour, too much to lose - but having said that, England have been pretty fearless in the last two games so will hopefully approach this one the same way.

BTW, if we win (IF!), we'll have beaten all 4 of the Rugby Championship sides during the competition, on top of it being wins over Aus, NZ and SA on consecutive weeks - although we also did that in autumn 2002 (finished off with the legendarily violent game against SA)

SimonHendy lol, best comment I've seen.

I fear we've seen the final already. England vs South Africa will not be as pretty as the New Zealand game was.

The final will be ‘interesting’. Imho, SA are pretty dour, not many ‘flair’ players, but they are physically very strong and remorseless if it’s an 80 minute grind won by a single penalty, they don’t care- neither do the record books!

England have a lot of young talent if they hold their nerve and try to avoid getting dragged into a wrestling match they can certainly do it.

I thought that Wales were more likely to trouble England than S. Africa and if we go on the evidence of past matches it should be England all the way but SA have played badly in this tournament yet somehow have managed to reach the final. England are firm favourites but this is rugby. The form book isn't always right.
