Never had this experience but it looks like they clearly need to change the rules, if there is no limit to how many times you can post I guess you have done nothing wrong other than perhaps piss someone off and they may well have complained and you unfortunately bore the brunt of their irritation. Seems a bit unfair to me but in the big scheme of things, you were only trying to promote your image so I really wouldn't worry too much about it. There are loads of us who enjoy seeing your work so keep them coming and admin go easy on the man he is innocent by his intention :)  If it happens again I will be getting the FREE BOB banners out. We've got your back :D

Sometimes the grown up thing is to just block someone who is irritating one, instead of running to admin....

Only time I see a Games post on my Recent Group Posts is like now, when someone posts a Games thread to General Chat.

Shouldn't this thread be in 'Games' and not 'General Chat?

I don't participate in games, but if you post rapidly in, say, 6 different games, whether or not it's the same image, you'll have taken up 6 of the top slots in Recent Group Discussions, which seems to me to move at fairly slow pace.  Admittedly as soon as someone else posts in one of those games, yours will no longer be the last post, theirs will be.  But I can imagine it might simply overwhelm the rest of the Recent Group Discussions topics.   I'm not sure that specifically relates to YOU (or an individual) posting over and over.  I guess many of the same image in rapid succession seems to be a bit desperate.

From memory, Games posts overwhelming Recent Group Discussions is pretty much why I left the Games group.  

You raise a good point, though the only option atm is to see or hide games, maybe there's some way of having it run along side without interfering with the other threads but still there for all to see?

Sounds like a game in itself! See who can get the longest ban by posting their images in the games groups! 😂

I have seen one member spam the suggested fpi thread , don't think that's a game. I found it odd but figured just let him at it, not sure what he was getting from it.

At the risk of divarication, I know about nuclear winter and may yet die of it; I know about cleaning, and Spring cleaning, much less lethal, but I'm having trouble unpacking that one.

Lenswonder nothing really as only the actual elves can add images to the fpi list and even then you need all the other other elves to vote on it. The suggested list is just another place to look, like recent images etc. so they can spam it all they want I suppose the images speak for themselves to get actually be put forward, and you can't suggest your own.

Whereas the games is meant to be more of a forum thing so if on person if hogging them it looks a bit clogged up.

Ah, fair enough.  Yeah, I'd hidden that one a long time ago, so had completely forgotten about its existence!

Sensual Art ah ok, I suppose that's different then as you could just spam it with your own images I suppose.

Again, it's just about using the site in a way that's nice for everyone, not spamming too much and keeping it a nice place to be

FYI there are over 2,700 games in play

A lot are very similar which could help if there was a tidy up
