How Many Images?

On mine the albums are a chronological log of my growth as a ‘model’ photographer.
But they are more for me as barely anybody finds all those ‘deeper cuts’…
Sure they occasionally look at the singles that I release to the main body of the portfolio.
But just like most 33&athirds vs 45s they miss so much! 😂😜

PP doesn’t really work as a portfolio hosting site for photographers.
It does work much better if I treat it more like an Instagram feed. The end result is that I have a lot of images on my main page.

I would say to models to be more selective.
There's some ports where there's just image after image and after unnecessarily wordy profile notes it's can be too much.
So once you finally get onto the images you're then constantly scrolling some more. Then with longer serving models inevitably several of the pictures are quite old and not necessarily a true likeness of the model today.
If you're paying for a model I think it's only correct that a model's homepage reflects her current look. That is the shop window after all. By all means, make use of albums. But 100+ images on the main page I don't think is a good idea; you have to be able to do your own quality control.

I work on a maximum of a 9x6 grid, (54) because this should fit ok on a desktop screen, the rest I tuck away in albums for those who wish to dig further, and it seems quite a few people do.
I find some that seem to go on for ever and ever, and it just puts me off. I'd rather look through specific albums/galleries; quite a few models have their Ports like that.
