Hi all, is anyone familiar with a studio that has a pole dancers pole? I know the best place to shoot such things is in a dance hall, but I haven't gone down the route yet. The dancer is based in Birmingham, but can travel by train.
I have a dance pole “stage” which I set up with a backdrop – it’s not permanently there. You can find a few examples on my page. It’s an X-Stage, pretty heavy duty and just fits snuggly into the 10ft studio height.
My building is grade II listed, so I can’t attach one to the floor/ceiling, so this is the best option for me.
I haven’t seen the one at Aura, but that might be the better option if it’s a permanent set up.
