Greetings!

Apologies that this is my second request for assistance in as many days - should I be able to save my own images from PP to my android phone please?

Ah, the thick plottens..  pressing and holding on the required image has just brought up options including download image as I thought it should BUT this is not always the case.

Having retried I am back to only gaining a list of options including;

open in new tab

open in incognito

preview page

but NOT download image.

I am befuddled with the inconsistency again.

Are you pressing and holding in the middle of the image, or off to one side?  There are "next image" and "previous image" links in those side areas that could get in the way.

Folks - many thanks again, I have obviously been varying where I press/hold.   I have just tried 5 times and all is fine with the mid / top image press.   I shall try and not find some painfully obvious non-issue tomorrow.

Yes -- if you press too far across to the left or right you're actually pressing on the (hidden) rectangular clickable overlays for navigating forward/back. So you are long pressing on a link, not on the image.

In most cases they don't overlap in the middle and there's a space to press just on the image.

Those two clickable areas also do not cover a strip at the top and across the very bottom of the image, as HotFridgePhotos has found.

When you're not on an Android or iOS device it's easier to see this because the mouse pointer changes! No help on a touch screen device though.
