There's some very cool stuff in the Creator Stage area this year!

Including me, on Sunday, where I'll be giving a talk on vlogging at 11:00 (cheap plug!)

I was looking at the Creator Stage on Saturday night and some of it is pretty shoot-worthy.  If they do the same next year I may have to bring a model up with me.  :-)

All booked up and going on Sunday. NEC parking is ridiculously expensive but that's what you get when the vulture capitalists Blackstone own anything, American greed.

Indeed, the parking cost more than the show!! Utter greed. 😡

If going at the weekend park at the railway station....

For info, there apparently won't be a show in 2023 - the next one is 16 -19 March 2024, back to the original timeslot.

Gothic Image I doubt it will return.

They asked exhibitors to bear the cost of closing a show for a day on the promise of a discount for next year and now they want them to wait 18 months to get the discount they were promised?

Hmm.

I could have sworn I saw a sign on the way out that had the dates for September 2023.

It's not so much the smaller exhibitors that will be most affected, it's those who mainly sell to trade buyers.  Monday is usually the biggest day for trade visitors, followed by Tuesday (usually known as "student day").

Every time I've been on the last day the so called students are retired and collecting their pension.🤣🤣

Who has most time to study until they retire?

Or most free time and ability to travel if they are studying young?

I thought the same, but an email arrived this morning from the organisers with the March dates.  It makes a lot of sense to go back to the original timeslot, the change to September was Covid related.

On the subject of discounts I know a number of stallholders who aren't interested in booking unless they get the discount first.  We'll see ...
